EXCLUSIVE: Saie Tamhankar Sympathises With Babil Khan Post Viral Emotional Breakdown Video; Comment On Insider-Outsider, Nepo Tag, “Mujhe Koi Point Nahi Lagta Iss Debate Ka”

Saie Tamhankar is a film and television actress known for her work primarily in Marathi and Hindi films. She began her career in TV in Marathi series like Tuzyavina (2003) and Ya Gojirvanya Gharat. She later appeared in the Hindi daily soap Kasturi and Anubandh (both 2007). Saie made her film debut in 2008 in Subhash Ghai’s Black & White and Aamir Khan’s Ghajini, followed by her Marathi film debut in the comedy Sanai Choughade (2008). In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Saie Tamhankar opens up on the nepotism debate and Babil Khan’s viral emotional breakdown video.

Saie Tamhankar Opens Up On Nepotism Debate

When asked about the nepotism debate or getting replaced by starkids, Saie Tamhankar shared, “Mujhe nahi lagta hai ki aap jo space create ho woh koi aur create kar sakta hai. Because everybody is unique in their way. So I never feel that insecurity of ‘Oh, I’m being replaced’ or ‘If I step away, what I’ve created will be taken.’ What I’ve created is mine—nobody can snatch it, nobody else can have it. It’s mine. Similarly, what you’ve created is yours. I believe one should have complete and absolute faith in that.”

She added, “Ek baat batao, agar meri aaj ek beti hoti, and she told me she wanted to become an actor, wouldn’t I push her instead of my cousin? Of course I would. I mean, come on—it’s just common sense. Mujhe koi point nahi lagta hai is debate ka. I believe one should be very solid in what they’ve achieved, what they’ve created for themselves, and they should stand by it completely—and cherish it.”

Saie Tamhankar On Babil Khan’s Emotional Breakdown Video

Speaking of Babil Khan’s emotional breakdown video, Saie reacted, “Can I tell you something? I think these terms—like star kids, outsiders, and all—listen, everybody is a human being first. We forget to look at them as human beings, and that’s the biggest mistake we make. Matlab aapko Salman Khan ya Shah Rukh Khan dikh gaaye, toh woh Salman Khan ya Shah Rukh Khan hi rahenge aam aadmi ke liye, which is unfortunate. So, I would like to see all of these people as humans first. And being human means that everything that can happen to a common person can happen to them too.”

What Happened To Babil Khan?

In the video, Babil criticised Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor, among others. He said, “What I mean to say is that I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh. There are so many more names. Bollywood is so f***. Bollywood is so screwed.” In another clip, Babil said, “Bollywood is the most fakest, fakest, fakest industry that I’ve ever ever been a part of. But there are a few people who want Bollywood to be better (smiles). I got to show you so much more, so much more. I have so much more to give you.”

After the video surfaced, Babil deleted his Instagram account, intensifying speculation and concern among fans and followers.
