Mahindra BE 6 EV: Variant-wise features with prices explained

Mahindra and Mahindra recently revealed the full price list of the new Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV. The new BE 6 is built on Mahindra’s in-house INGLO platform, a modular skateboard architecture designed exclusively for electric vehicles. Interested customers can book the new BE 6 online or by visiting their nearest dealership starting from February 14, 2025. Deliveries for both SUVs will roll out in phases beginning in mid-March 2025. Customers can also add their preferences for models and variants on the Mahindra website.
The Mahindra BE 6 is offered in five variants – Pack One, Pack One above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select and Pack Three. The deliveries for the pack three variant will start in mid-March. Lower trims will be introduced gradually between June and August and the larger 79kWh battery pack is exclusive to Pack Three.
The BE 6e is available in two battery pack options – a 59kWh battery generates 231hp, while those with the 79kWh battery produce 286hp. Both configurations offer 380Nm of torque and are rear-wheel drive. The larger battery pack has an ARAI-certified range of 682km, while the smaller one provides a range of 556km. Colour options include Desert Myst, Firestorm Orange, Everest White, Deep Forest, Tango Red, Stealth Black, Everest White Satin and Desert Myst Satin colours. Mahindra BE 6 Pack One
Rs 18.9 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Pack one is the entry-level variant of the BE6 and gets features such as cruise control, a digital cockpit, Bi-LED headlamps with DRLs, LED tail lamps, fabric upholstery, R18 wheels come with aero covers and low rolling resistance tyres, electric power steering featuring a variable gear ratio and offers multiple driving modes, including a boost mode. It also includes multi-step regeneration with an auto mode and a one-touch Single Pedal Drive for enhanced convenience.
Advanced driver assistance features include driver drowsiness detection, an electronic parking brake, rear parking sensors with an HD camera, a low tyre pressure indicator, six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and a brake-by-wire system. The interior gets twin 12.3-inch screens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 5G connectivity, and pre-installed OTT apps. Cabin pre-cooling, a 4-speaker audio system with two tweeters, Amazon Alexa integration, a push-button start, a frunk for additional storage, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and rear AC vents with climate control, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, cooled storage, 65W Type-C fast charging ports for both front and rear passengers, and a 60:40 split second-row seat with a two-step recline function.

Mahindra BE 6 Pack One Above

Next comes Pack One above which gets features such as R19 wheels with aero covers; a fixed glass roof, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), an automatic windshield defogger, a wireless charging pad in the front row, and an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror (IRVM) and dual-zone climate control.

The Pack two features Level 2 ADAS, which includes one radar and one camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, front parking sensors, front fog lamps, cornering lamps, soft fabric-wrapped interior elements, sequential turn indicators and a start-up lighting sequence, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos support, NFC key, rear AC vents for passenger comfort, and a rear parcel shelf.

The Pack Three Select gets adaptive suspension, C-shaped LED DRLs and tail lights, along with centre animation tail lights, R19 alloy wheels, a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel and seat upholstery, complemented by soft leatherette accents throughout. Touch-sensitive switches are integrated into the console and steering wheel, seven airbags, including a driver knee airbag, a 360-degree camera, a blind view monitor, and a 360-degree live view with recording, advanced driver assistance features such as Auto Park, video calling capability, dual wireless charging for the front row, VR LED air filtration, and a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-way manual lumbar support, ventilated seats, electric flush door handles, auto-folding ORVMs, passive keyless entry, a power-operated tailgate with gesture control and one-touch power window for the driver.

Next comes in top-of-the-line Pack Three. It gets features such as ambient lighting with 16 million colour options integrated into both the cabin and the glass roof, an augmented reality head-up display (HUD), Level 2 ADAS, which utilizes five radars and one camera with auto lane change, lane centring, and emergency steering assist, blind spot detection and front and rear cross-traffic alert.
