Actress Rozlyn Khan has sparked controversy by accusing Hina Khan of exaggerating her Stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis for attention. Rozlyn shared what she claims is Hina’s medical report from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Instagram on February 20, 2025, challenging the severity of Hina’s cancer diagnosis. Rozlyn Khan, a stage 4 cancer survivor, recently posted medical reports on social media claiming they belonged to Hina Khan. She alleged that Hina was diagnosed with Stage 2 cancer, not Stage 3 as previously stated, accusing her of deceiving the public.
The shared medical document, which appears partially redacted, shows the name “Hina” and lists the patient’s age as 37. Rozlyn, who is herself a cancer survivor, posted the report along with serious allegations about Hina misleading the public about her health condition. As per the report, the rest of the body does not show any sign of cancer but there seem to be some ill-defined lesions in breast
In her Instagram post, Rozlyn wrote: “Medical misinformation alert! Please read this report carefully. I also have other supporting documents, officially stamped by the hospital, provided by a reliable source.”

She further stated: “Now it’s time to understand that celebrities can use anything to be in the limelight .. I feel really sorry to say that stage 3 was an exaggerated statement to pull more attention, it was ok if she would have said that it’s stage 2 cancer .. for us cancer is cancer.! Per Tab bravery Kaise dikhti ?? I was right that early detection leads to early recovery and one can go back to work faster, we all noticed it in hina khan ‘s case, her faster recovery etc bcos it was easy treatment.”
Rozlyn added: “misinformation from a cancer patient/ survivor is real demeaning to those actually suffering from stage 3 triple nagative..! Atleast ab to saamne sa kar public apology maang lo ??”
Rozlyn also questioned Hina’s claim about undergoing a 15-hour mastectomy surgery, raising concerns about her post-surgery activities.
“How could you post that you got your mastectomy done in December’s first week and traveled out of India in the 3rd week? And posting videos and pictures where she is dancing and sliding and doing all ice sports etc? If any patient travels with such a big surgery not even completing 21 days of it and catches an infection who will be responsible? You know Gen Z; they copy-paste it looking at Hina. What is her social responsibility? Is not she serving us with fairy tale stories on Instagram? Just go through her journey and post yourself you will get to know how quickly she recovers and she is looking fantastic with stage 3 breast cancer. Is it humanly possible? it takes months to recover after mastectomy and radiation or she has kept things undercover, and she is releasing posts now, it’s only she who can explain things in detail but she is hiding behind the bushes.”
The allegations have created a divide among fans and followers, with some supporting Rozlyn’s claims while others defending Hina Khan.
Hina Khan has responded subtly through social media to fellow actress Rozlyn Khan’s accusations of using her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis for publicity. Hina, who had remained silent until now, shared a video on Instagram showing her sipping a drink with text reading “Meanwhile, me in my room, embracing the ‘STAGE’ of giving zero fcks,” captioning it “Cleansing my aura, one sip at a time… Oops.”
In June 2024, Hina Khan had publicly disclosed her cancer diagnosis through Instagram.
“I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.”
Hina Khan, known for her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has maintained her stance about having Stage 3 breast cancer despite the controversy.
