Celebrity MasterChef has taken the entertainment world by storm as it continues to gain massive fan following and dominates social media chatter, courtesy its incredible challenges and mouth-watering dishes. Short clips from the episodes often go viral on social media and fans eagerly wait to share their opinions and perspectives on the show. As the competition turns intense, the stakes turn higher. While the show sees Farah Khan as the host, chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna serve as the judges.
Among the star-studded contestants roped in for the show is Gaurav Khanna. The popular actor from Anupamaa has been gaining incredible attention for whipping up luscious dishes. In the beginning, Gaurav faced severe criticism from the judges for creating a dish that was deemed “uneatable.” However, his determination and “ziddi” attitude allowed him to grow throughout the competition.

In the recent episode, we saw the contestants faced a tough competition. They all were fighting to win the immunity pin. The challenge was in two parts where in the first one they had to cut half kg onions. In the second part, they had to make Farah Khan’s iconic roast chicken. This episode was one of the most talked about in entertainment news and TV news.
The contestants were given to taste the chicken Farah made but Gaurav could not do so as he is a vegetarian. He was asking others to tell him about the taste. Later, he completed his dish but failed with the presentation. The judges told him that he chose the wrong plate colour and it looked quite off.
Gaurav then told them that he is colour blind and Vikas Khanna was shocked. Farah then said, “What rubbish!” She then asked him if he can’t see Vikas’ blue jacket which was actually red. Gaurav simply said that he sees that the jacket is in between orange and red shade.
Fans haven’t liked this behaviour by Farah and the judges. They have slammed them for making fun of Gaurav’s condition. Netizens feel that the judges should never demotivate a contestant.

Talking about the contestants, apart from Gaurav, the show also has Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Dipika Kakar, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayesha Jhulka and Chandan Prabhakar. Amongst them, Chandan, Abhijeet and Ayesha have been eliminated.
