I have been really into hair growth serums lately. I started with The Ordinary Multi-peptide serum. Then I tried the Wishcare one, and now here I am, reviewing the Pilgrim Hair Growth Serum.
For some reason, the Brand Pilgrim never really attracted me. I thought it was just another Brand with a similar range of products.
If anyone’s curious, all my beauty purchases are from Nykaa.
Lately, I have been focusing on my hair health with a lot more focus and dedication, and exploring hair care products, videos of hair care have been popping up on my feed so I thought why not give this hair growth serum from Pilgrim a try while I am trying new hair serums and, I am so glad I did.
I have almost finished the bottle now and I am all set to share my opinion and complete experience with the Pilgrim Hair Growth Serum.

How to Use
- Ensure the scalp is clean and dry

Review – Pilgrim Hair Growth Serum
My hair type: Wavy hair with oily scalp and rough ends.
Packaging
It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper cap, similar to The Ordinary hair serum. The dropper works absolutely fine and I did not experience any issues while using or storing the product. It further comes in an outside regular cardboard box.
The 100ml bottle comes with a spray cap though.

Great for Everyday use – Didn’t leave my hair oily 💕
Though the Brand said this serum can be used everyday and it is non-greasy, I did not really believe it at first because when I did that with the Wishcare hair growth serum, the results weren’t good for everyday use.
So, I started using it twice a week and surprisingly, it didn’t leave my hair oily or sticky at all. Like not even 1%. Neither after application nor the next day.
It is completely water like and the dropper even makes it easy to apply directly to the scalp.
Seeing the results so far, I started using the serum every night and I honestly loved the fact that it did not make my hair turn oily or greasy ever after the regular usage.
Didn’t cause my hair to look rough or dry
Next, I wanted to see if it disturbs the hair texture or results in roughness with regular usage, and to my surprise, it did not make my hair turn rough or dry at all. Which, unfortunately, I experienced with Wishcare hair growth serum.
So far, the Pilgrim hair growth serum checked all the boxes for me.
At this point, I wondered if it actually results in noticeable hair growth, this could be my new favorite.
I did not experience any hair fall ✨
Now, before I talk about the results in terms of hair growth, let me put some light on the hair fall situation.
I, honestly, did not experience any hair fall or increase in the hair fall with this serum. But, this could be because I have been using Redensyl (a common hair growth ingredient) for some time now via different hair growth serums. If you are a beginner, there is a high chance you will experience initial hair fall because it’s a trait of Redensyl or Minoxidil to shed out weak hair before the start of the process of new healthy hair growth.
The Brand also claims to reduce hair fall. Now, luckily, I haven’t been experiencing any such major hair fall issues so I can’t comment on that but what I can say for sure is this product alone did not cause any hair breakage or sudden increase in the hair fall.
Increased hair density and volume 💯
Now, the most important thing. How effective this serum is in terms of hair growth? And I would say, this serum won my heart and it’s a truly 10/10.
I noticed a significant increase in hair density within two weeks of regular usage. After a month or so, I noticed an increase in the hair volume as well and spotted visible growth in the hair length.
Within 20 days or so, I could clearly see this new shade of baby hair on my hairline.
Worked without side effects
The Pilgrim hair growth serum legit worked without any drawbacks or side effects. I did not experience any itching, allergies, rashes, or any other side effects.
I am so glad that I decided to spend my money on the Pilgrim hair serum because it not only worked in terms of hair growth but also in a much better way if I compare it to the Wishcare or even The Ordinary.
The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density Review
I did my skincare the usual way. I use Retinol in the night and alternatively, I use Vitamin C serum as well and it did not result in any allergies or rashes. That being said, again, if you are a beginner with hair serums, do not use any other serum on the face at the same time to be on the safer side.
There are so many other hair growth serums that I am willing to try and I will for sure but so far, Pilgrim hair growth serum is one of my best purchases.
Lasts only a month
The only thing that slightly bothers me back in my mind is the quantity. The bottle lasts only a month max. Not that it doesn’t show results in that frame of time but if I or someone would want to continue the journey, they would a bottle every month. It will be like a monthly investment in hair care.
If you ask me for a recommendation, Pilgrim hair growth serum would be it.

Final Thoughts
I can’t say for other products from Pilgrim but I was wrong to underestimate this Brand for the hair growth serum. This truly works with no side effects and did not disappoint at all.
