Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan reportedly suffered severe injuries after his car crashed on National Highway 9. The hospital has now shared his health update.
Singer Pawandeep Rajan shot to fame as he won Indian Idol season 12. He became everyone’s favourite in no time. His impeccable singing and shy nature was much appreciated. This afternoon he hit headlines as reports of his car getting into an accident shocked all. Reportedly, Pawandeep Rajan suffered severe injuries due to the incident. Here’s his latest health update.
As per reports, Pawandeep Rajan’s car met with an accident at 3 am on National Highway 9 in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. He was travelling with a friend Ajay Mehra and driver Rahul Singh. Reportedly, all three sustained injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital. The singer was then moved to Fortis given the severity of his injuries. The hospital in a statement revealed that Pawandeep Rajan has sustained multiple fractures. His health is stable and is conscious. However, he will be undergoing multiple surgeries. He is currently under the orthopedic care in the hospital.
The statement by Fortis read, “Pawandeep Rajan has been admitted to Fortis Hospital, Noida, under the care of the orthopaedics team following a road traffic accident that resulted in multiple limb fractures. He is currently stable and conscious. As part of his treatment plan, he will be undergoing a series of sequential surgeries. Our clinical team is closely monitoring his condition and providing all necessary medical care.”
As soon as reports of his accident hit headlines, all his fans took to social media to wish him a speedy recovery. A picture of him from the hospital also went viral that added to the worry. Indian Idol 12’s first runner-up Sayali Kamble commented on Pawandeep Rajan’s accident. To entertainment news portal Zoom TV, the singer said, “I don’t have an idea about it. I spoke to his family members. I am not allowed to share more details about it. I just wish for his speedy recovery.” Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also tweeted and wrote, “Received the news of famous singer Pawandeep Rajan getting injured in a road accident. I pray to God for his speedy recovery.”
