Shoaib Ibrahim has finally addressed the issue of wife Dipika Kakar’s clothing brand shutting down abruptly. Here’s what he said.
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the most popular couples in the television industry. The couple often grab headlines for their personal and professional lives. Recently, the couple was once again in the news after reports claimed that Dipika’s clothing brand had shut down operations unexpectedly.
Dipika and Shoaib launched Label DKI—an ethnic wear brand named after Dipika’s full name, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim in 2023. The brand solely focused on traditional Indian fashion and was introduced as Dipika’s dream project. The actress had been planning and working on the same for over two years. The launch of her brand was delayed due to her personal responsibilities and health issues. The brand went live in September-October 2024. Dipika’s clothing brand received praise from her fans and followers who appreciated her style.
As per various rumours, it was stated that Dipika’s brand had shut down entirely which left fans shocked. Responding to the speculation, Shoaib Ibrahim addressed the issue during a Q&A session on his social media. Shoaib clarified that the brand is not closed. Yes, you read that right! The handsome actor said that they have not uploaded any new stock which might have led to the misunderstanding. He also assured fans that fresh collections will be launched soon. He said that the clothing brand is quite active.
It seems now that Shoaib’s reassurance has brought relief to the couple’s supporters. Despite all the chaos, Dipika’s brand is on a temporary pause and not a permanent shutdown.
On the work front, Dipika who had taken a break from acting was seen participating in the reality cooking show Celebrity Masterchef. The actress quit the show due to medical reasons and has been focusing on her health and personal life. She is a doting mother to son Ruhaan and spends time with her little one.
Shoaib and Dipika found themselves in controversy after the former uploaded a travel vlog after the attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Fans slammed Shoaid for his timing and some called them insensitive.
