With the success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol proved that he is still a bankable star. His latest release Jaat also performed well at the box office. Now the actor has quite a few films in his kitty. Among all, the most anticipated one is Border 2. JP Dutta is once again set to serve a thrilling war drama with Border 2. Sunny Deol is going to reprise his role in the film. The actor has begun shooting for the same in Uttarakhand and a picture of his has gone viral from the sets.
Recently, the CEO of the Uttarakhand Film Development Council Banshidhar Tiwari visited the sets of Sunny Deol’s Border 2. The film is being shot in Dehradun’s Halduwala area. As per reports, a massive set replicating Kashmir has been made in Dehradun for Border 2. As Banshidhar Tiwari visited the sets, he presented a frame of Shri Kedarnath Dham to Sunny Deol. The picture of their meeting has hit the internet. Apart from revealing about the shoot, the pictures also reveals the look of Sunny Deol for the war drama. The actor has once again slipped into the uniform to be Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri sporting a full grown beard and a moustache. His picture will instantly set you in a nostalgia mode and take you back to Border days.

Apart from Sunny Deol, the movie is going to star actors like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and others. While JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta are producing the movie, it is being directed by Anurag Singh. Earlier, certain portions of the film were shot in Jhansi. Pictures of Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan from the sets had gone viral on social media. Border 2 is going to release on January 23, 2026. It will once again celebrate and pay tribute to the valour of the Indian Armed Forces.
