Another heartwarming moment surfaced on March 11, 2023, when Karisma and her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur, along with his current wife Priya Sachdev, gathered to celebrate Samaira’s 18th birthday.
While not much is known about when and where the birthday celebration took place, it is known that Sunjay Kapur attended the celebration with his wife Priya Sachdev and their son Azarius. This lovely moment showcased a peaceful and respectful bond between the former couple and their blended families, who cooperate with each other.
Sunjay even took to the popular social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) and expressed his happiness about his elder daughter’s 18th birthday, welcoming her to adulthood with a heartfelt message. For the unversed, actress Karisma Kapoor married businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003 in an elaborate ceremony. The couple then had two children: daughter Samaira in 2005 and son Kiaan in 2010 at Karisma’s family home, Krishna Raj Bungalow, in Mumbai. However, their marriage didn’t last long, as the two decided to get divorced after 13 years of marriage. A year later in 2017, Sunjay Kapur married actress Priya Sachdev. Despite their past, Karisma and Sunjay always made their children a top priority. This appearance of them together shows that they continue to support their daughter as a team, even if they are no longer in a married relationship.
