Mahindra is all set to refresh its SUV portfolio by introducing facelifts for existing models while launching multiple new vehicles as well
Mahindra & Mahindra, the country’s second biggest automobile brand, is readying several new models for the Indian market. These include facelifted versions of its existing SUVs as well as all-new vehicles in the ICE and EV avatar. The company has started testing its new range of SUVs on the Indian roads and these have been captured on the camera multiple times. In this piece, we will talk in detail about the 5 new Mahindra cars spied testing, which could debut in the coming 6-8 months in our country.
1. New-Gen Mahindra Bolero
The new-gen Bolero was recently sighted for the first time. It will bid adieu to the ladder frame and instead will be based on the ‘New Flexible Architecture’, which is a monocoque chassis. The spy images further revealed that the new-gen Mahindra Bolero will get a major styling overhaul in the form of circular LED lights, ala Thar, in place of the present model’s trapezoidal units.

The updates will not be limited to styling as the SUV will also boast of top-notch safety features including Level 2 ADAS. Mechanically, it is likely to remain unchanged while carrying the same mHawk75 diesel engine.

2. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV

Touted as the spiritual successor to the XUV 4OO, Mahindra XUV 3XO EV has been spotted during its test runs several times. It will be positioned below the BE 6 in the brand’s EV portfolio as a direct rival to Tata Nexon EV. Visually, it will be identical to the ICE-powered XUV 3XO, except for a handful of EV-specific changes. In fact, the cabin and features too will be carried over from the ICE version. The XUV 3XO EV could retain the XUV 4OO’s 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery packs with driving range of 375 km and 456 km, respectively, on a single charge.
3. Mahindra BE Rall-E

Unveiled in Feb 2023 as a concept car, Mahindra BE Rall-E is essentially the rugged and off-road centric version of the BE 6 electric SUV. It was recently spied testing, hinting at a possible launch in the coming few months. The production version is likely to retain most of the design elements of the concept model. The interior cabin, dashboard and upholstery will be shared with the BE 6. Since it will be based on the same INGLO architecture, we can expect a dual-motor AWD setup to justify its off-roading capabilities.

4. 2026 Mahindra XUV 7OO
It has already been known in the media that Mahindra will present the mid-cycle facelift of its flagship model by mid 2026 in the Indian market. The XUV 7OO has been on sale since 2021 and it has received no design update yet. Recently, the 2026 XUV 7OO facelift was clicked on camera for the first time.
It could be renamed as XUV 7XO, going by the recent naming strategy of Mahindra. It will come with revamped front fascia with new circular LED headlamps, something very similar to the Thar Roxx. Mechanically, it will retain the same 2.0L turbocharged petrol and 2.2L turbocharged diesel engines with same power and torque.
5. Mahindra XEV 7e

The all-electric version of the XUV 7OO was leaked during a presentation last year. It will be India’s first 7-seater all-electric SUV when it goes on sale in 2026 in the Indian market. The XEV 7e will not feature radical styling as the BE 6 and XEV 9e. Though it will share the 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack with these electric SUVs while the claimed range on a single charge could exceed 650+ km. The XEV 7e e-SUV will carry most of the features of the XUV 7OO. It will directly rival Tata Safari electric in the country.
