Amar Upadhyay and Smriti Irani will be back together as Mihir-Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Amar has now opened up about meeting Smriti for the first time after 25 years at Ekta Kapoor’s house.
We are all excited about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. This is the iconic show of television and we have all loved it. Tulsi Virani and her family has been close to our hearts. The show began in 2000 and had a successful run for eight years. Smriti Irani made Tulsi the most loved and iconic character of television. It has been a long time since the show went off-air but we all still remember the actors, the dialogues and even the title song of the show. Recently, Ekta Kapoor announced that the show just needs to complete just those 150 episodes to reach that 2000 episode and hence she is bringing it back.
Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay will also be back as Tulsi-Mihir in the show. Their jodi was loved by the audience and we all saw when Amar left the show, it came as a big shock. People cried when Mihir died. The actor has made us all love Mihir. After his exit, Ronit Roy had taken over as Mihir Virani. Now, we will see Amar Upadhyay returning as Mihir.
Amar Upadhyay reveals Smriti Irani hasn’t changed
The actor recently spoke about his first interaction with Smriti Irani after 25 years. He spoke to Bombay Times and said that despite Smriti Irani’s prominent position in Indian politics as the Union Minister for Women and Child Development, she is still the same. He shared that she has not changed and it felt like no time has passed as they were just the same.
He met her at Ekta Kapoor’s residence and she jokingly asked him ‘Tu boodha kab hoga?”. Amar Upadhyay laughed and replied, “Abhi time hai.” He added that their reunion was filled with laughter. He said, “She’s always been grounded, and that hasn’t changed one bit. Our interaction was exactly how it used to be 25 years ago.” This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
Talking about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, original members Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Mouni Roy, Karishma Tanna, Sandeep Baswana, Shilpa Agnihotri, Rakshanda Khan, Shakti Anand and others will be returning to the show. The show will also reportedly have actors like Shagun Sharma, Rohit Suchanti, Aman Gandhi, Nidhi Shah, Tanisha Mehta and others.
