Jhanak: Sneha Bhawsar REVEALS the prime reason of joining Arjit Taneja's show; 'The character...'

Jhanak is one of the most popular shows on television screens, having run successfully for more than a year now. The first installment of the show featured Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja, and Chandni Sharma in the main roles. The show gained instant popularity and these stars became household names. The show has now taken a leap and makers have roped in new stars like Riya Sharma and Arjit Taneja to play lead roles after old stars bid adieu to the show.

Sneha Bhawsar who played the role of Karishma Chavan in the first season of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has joined the show. She plays a dynamic and layered character of Ankita and has kept audiences hooked to the screens with her role. In an interview with TellyChakkar, Sneha revealed the prime reason for joining Jhanak. She said, “Honestly, when Jhanak was offered to me, the first thing that caught my attention was the strength of the story and the emotional layers it carries. I’ve always been drawn to shows that aren’t just daily dramas but have something deeper to say, and Jhanak had that. Also, the character I was offered felt like a refreshing shift from what I’ve played before.”

Sneha spoke about her character and said that she has been paired with Yash, who is Ishani and Shashwat’s son. She said that her character is very today’s girl—ambitious, a little entitled, and emotionally complex. Sneha further added saying, “What I love is that she’s not a typical antagonist; she’s subtle, calculated, and carries her own insecurities under a polished exterior. It’s fun to explore a character who doesn’t scream villainy but still keeps you on edge.”

Sneha even spoke about her preference of playing positive or negative characters and said that she loves playing both. She said that negative or grey-shaded characters give a lot more scope to perform and one gets to explore so many layers, and it’s creatively more satisfying. She even said that she loves it when a positive character also has some flaws it makes them more real.

Well, Hiba and Krushal have not quit the show said producer, Saibal Banerjee. The producer spoke to Times Now and clarified that Hiba and Krushal have not quit the show, it is just the story that has moved ahead.
