Shefali Jariwala, famously known as the Kaanta Laga girl, breathed her last on June 27. Doctors who conducted autopsy have ‘reserved’ their opinion over her cause of death.
Shefali Jariwala‘s sudden demise on June 27 left everyone shocked. The actress was just 42 years old. As per reports, she suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at her home in Andheri. On June 27, she was rushed to a nearby hospital by husband Parag Tyagi and others where she was declared dead on arrival. Later, her mortal remains were shifted to Cooper hospital for post-mortem. As per the reports, the doctors who conducted the autopsy have ‘reserved’ their opinion about the cause of death. The latest reports suggest that the police has registered Accidental Death Report (ADR) until further forensic reports arrive.
Shefali Jariwala’s cause of death unclear
As reported by Hindustan Times, the police sources have informed that the preliminary findings suggest that Shefali Jariwala died due to a cardiac arrest. However, toxicology and histopathology reports are still awaited. Even the blood and viscera samples have been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory, Kalina. As per the report, a police officer revealed, “Her father Satish was present at home when she started feeling uneasy after taking some medication. We have found several medicines at the residence and are checking them.” Another official added that “Preliminary information suggests a natural death. However, we are not ruling out anything until forensic reports are reviewed.”
Shefali Jariwala’s BP dropped drastically?
Another report in The Indian Express suggests that Shefali Jariwala had taken her usual pills on Friday night and had taken a shot of an injection (reportedly an anti-aging injection) in the afternoon. The source from police informed that after consuming the medicines, her blood pressure dropped drastically and she began shivering. Family members then rushed her to the hospital. The report also had Dixit Gedam, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 9 stating, “Prima facie, there is no foul play, and the doctors have reserved their opinion on the cause of death.”
Shefali Jariwala’s funeral
The last rites of Shefali Jariwala were held yesterday in Oshiwara. Friends and TV stars like Shehnaaz Gill, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh, Paras Chhabra, Hindustani Bhau and others attended her funeral and bid a tearful adieu to their good friend.
