Popular actor and model Shefali Jariwala died late Friday, June 28 and her demise left everyone shocked. Her last rites were performed in Mumbai on Saturday evening by her husband Parag Tyagi, and her close family members and friends in attendance. Now, after her last rites, several key details have emerged in the ongoing investigation due to her sudden death.

According to sources, police have collected important information based on witness statements and even seized evidence and preliminary forensic inputs. A source quoted by NDTV said that the main cause of cardiac arrest could be Shefali’s regularly consuming anti-aging medicines for the last seven to eight years. “Shefali was regularly consuming anti-ageing medicines for the last seven-eight years. There was a puja at home on June 27, due to which Shefali was fasting. Despite this, she took an injection of anti-ageing medicine in the afternoon of the same day. These medicines were advised to her by a doctor years ago, and since then she has been taking this treatment every month. So far in the police investigation, it has come to light that these medicines could be a major reason for cardiac arrest,” said the source.
Shefali’s health deteriorated between 10 and 11 PM on June 27. Parag and others rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead. As per reports, her body started trembling and she fell unconscious. The forensic team collected various items from the residence for the probe and even seized a variety of medicines from the house. The official cause of death is still awaited and will now depend on the chemical analysis of the seized substances.

As per reports, Shefali reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence late Friday and her husband Parag took her to the hospital and doctors declared her dead on arrival. The family has not released an official statement yet. Various pictures and videos from the hospital went viral on the social media and her family was seen heartbroken and devastated. Shefali’s last rites will be performed today at the Oshiwara Hindu crematorium in Mumbai.
On the work front, Shefali first rose to fame with the 2002 music video Kaanta Laga which made her an overnight sensation. She was later seen in the Shaadi Karogi, alongside Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. She later participated in Nach Baliye with her husband Parag Tyagi, and entered Bigg Boss 13.
