Deepika has made history and is the first Indian actress to receive this rare honour. Deepika’s fans are celebrating her big success on the international level, but there are rumours which state that a hefty amount is paid that comes with a Walk of Fame star.

As per reports, the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame comes at a hefty price of Rs 73 lakh. As per the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s official website, any person is eligible to nominate a celebrity to receive a star by submitting a nomination, with the said celebrity’s or their management team’s agreement. “If there is no letter of agreement included from the celebrity or his/her representative, the committee will not accept the application,” the website says. Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Diet Sabya shared a post about the same on their Instagram which even stated that fans can nominate a celebrity (with a $250 fee) and the selected nominee or their sponsor must shell out a hefty $75,000 to $85,000 (approximately Rs 73 lakh) for the installation and maintenance of the star.
