Here we have explained about the five possible 7-seater SUV models that will likely be launched in the Indian market this year
Several full-sized SUVs were launched last year in the Indian market in the form of Hyundai Alcazar facelift, 2024 Jeep Wrangler, Nissan X-Trail, Kia EV9 and Mahindra Bolero Neo among others. This year too, we expect a lot of big family SUVs to go on sale in the domestic market. Several leading automakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra and JSW MG Motor India will debut their 7-seater SUV models in our country. In this piece, we have listed all the upcoming big SUVs along with their features and technical specs.
1. MG Majestor
Being showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, MG Majestor will be positioned above the Gloster in the brand’s portfolio in India. The three-row SUV is based on a ladder frame while it shares styling with the global-spec Maxus D90.
Riding on 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, it comes loaded with exquisite features such as panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, wireless charging, electric tailgate, all-digital instrument cluster and a free-standing 12.3-inch infotainment system. MG Majestor is likely to borrow the Gloster’s 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine with an 8-speed gearbox.
