Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6 is expected to go on sale sometime next year

Royal Enfield is set to introduce multiple new motorcycles in the Indian market. Amongst the brand’s upcoming models, the Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle is one of the most anticipated launches, which is expected to go on sale sometime in the year 2026. Apart from this, a 650cc ADV, a rally-spec 450cc Himalayan-based adventure bike along with the updated models of the current 650cc range are on the cards for the near future. In line with this, let’s look at the upcoming big Royal Enfield bikes in India.

1. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 was spied testing last year and is expected to launch in the Indian market next year i.e. 2026. Internally called Project R2G, the ADV will be powered by a twin-cylinder engine derived from the current 650cc unit, further bored out to displace 750cc.

While the power output figures are unknown, it will likely have a significant bump of around 5-6 bhp over the current 650cc engine. The spy images highlight the presence of dual-disc brakes at the front, adjustable USD front forks, wire-spoke trims and a distinctive design language, different from the current crop of Royal Enfield adventure bikes.

2. Royal Enfield Himalayan Raid

Internally codenamed ‘Project K1X’, the Royal Enfield Himalayan Raid is nothing but a more off-road focused version of the Himalayan 450. Expected to be launched in the Indian market next year, the Himalayan Raid will most likely share a lot of cycle parts with the standard model.

The suspension setup will be an all-new unit, with longer travel and adjustment for compression and rebound at both ends. It is also expected to sport rally-specific equipment such as rally tail section, rally seat, hand guards, tubeless spoke wheels and more. The Royal Enfield Himalayan Raid will most likely be powered by the familiar 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, however, there could be a slight bump in the output numbers.

3. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6 concept was officially unveiled in the Indian market in February this year. Talking about the design, the electric bike sports a retro styling inspired by the Flying Flea motorcycle employed in World War II. Featuring a round LED headlamp upfront paired with round LED indicators, the highlight of the e-bike is the use of girder forks.

Expected to launch next year in the country, the Flying Flea C6 will likely pack performance specs similar to those of a 300cc ICE motorcycle. We can expect a claimed range of around 100-150 kilometres on a single charge.

4&5. Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 and Continental GT 750

Royal Enfield is reportedly working on a new 750cc platform and the Interceptor 750 could be the first model to sport the new engine. This new powerhouse will be derived from the current 650cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine, which will likely be rebored for an increased displacement. The test mule of the updated Interceptor 750 was spotted testing early this year and it is expected to launch by the end of 2025. With the increase in the engine displacement, we expect the power figures to see a good bump and the new 750cc parallel-twin unit could produce upwards of 50 bhp.

In addition to this, the Continental GT 750 is also on the cards and will likely follow the launch of the new Interceptor. The new 750cc twins will get a dual-disc setup at the front in the interest of better braking efficiency. The spy shots also reveal the presence of a beefier suspension setup along with a TFT instrument cluster, similar to the one we get on the Guerrilla 450.
