Mahindra XUV3XO EV

The electric version of the Mahindra XUV3XO subcompact SUV has been on test for a while now. Its official launch details are yet to be announced; however, it’s expected to hit roads by mid-2025 (possibly in June). This electric SUV is likely to be offered with a smaller 35kWh battery pack. While the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will retain original design, a few EV-specific changes will differentiate it from the ICE model. It will compete with the Tata Nexon EV and the upcoming Kia Syros EV and Maruti Fronx EV.

Mahindra XEV 7e

Next on the list of upcoming Mahindra SUVs is the electric XUV700. Its production-ready version is likely to be named Mahindra XEV 7e, expected to arrive towards the end of 2025. A set of leaked images have already been surfaced online, revealing some interesting details. The Mahindra XUV700 electric will derive several design cues from the XEV 9e, including a blacked-out grille, split LED headlamps, inverted L-shaped connected LED DRLs and more. Its powertrain setup might also be borrowed from the Mahindra XEV 9e.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift

Mahindra’s popular XUV700 SUV is due for a midlife update in 2026. The facelifted version is likely to share some features with the born-electric BE 6 and XEV 9e SUVs such as a triple screen setup, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and augmented reality-based HUD. No mechanical changes are expected. The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 will continue to feature the 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines.

Mahindra Thar Facelift

Mahindra & Mahindra will introduce the Thar facelift with major feature upgrades next year. Most of design changes and feature upgrades will be inspired by the Thar Roxx. The 2026 Mahindra Thar facelift is likely to come with a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, a 360 degree camera and Level 2 ADAS suite. The SUV will continue to be powered by the 152bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol, 119bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel and 132bhp, 2.2L diesel engines.

Mahindra BE.07

The Mahindra BE.07 will be a born-electric 5-seater SUV, retaining most of its design elements from the concept. Leaked patent images of the EV confirm presence of the unique LED DRLs signature, an upright front and a more pronounced coupe-like sloping roofline. The alloy wheel design will be slightly different from its concept. Powertrain details are not available at this moment, but it’s expected to feature more powerful motors than the BE 6 and XEV 9e.

Mahindra XUV3XO Hybrid

Mahindra & Mahindra is considering hybrid technology for the Indian market. The Mahindra XUV 3XO subcompact SUV could become the company’s first petrol-hybrid model, slated to launch in 2026. Internally known as S226, this hybrid SUV might come with a 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, paired with a hybrid system. No major changes are expected to made its design and interior, expected for the addition of Hybrid badges.

Mahindra Scorpio N Pik Up

Another model on the list of upcoming Mahindra SUVs is the Scorpio N Pik Up, which is expected to hit roads in 2026. This pickup truck will feature the Green-II all-aluminium mHawk diesel engine under the hood. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. It will come with four drive modes – Normal, Mud-Rut, Grass-Gravel-Snow and Sand. The Mahindra Scorpio N Pik Up is expected to come packed with features such as 5G-based connectivity features, Level 1 autonomous driving system with semi-automatic parking, etc.

Mahindra Thar.e

The 5-door Mahindra Thar.e will be based on the INGLO-P1 platform, and sit on a wheelbase measuring between 2776mm – 2976mm. Its ground clearance will be 300mm, which is quite impressive. This electric SUV is expected to feature a 4WD (four-wheel drive) system and dual motor setup. The design and styling the Mahindra Thar electric will be similar to its ICE counterpart. However, it will feature a Hummer-like compact windshield, a rectangular grille, newly-designed front bumper and retro-styled stance.
