TVS will launch at least five new two-wheeler models including EVs in the next 6-8 months in the Indian market
TVS Motor Company has lined up several new models for the Indian market in the coming 6-8 months. The Hosur-based two-wheeler brand will foray into the middleweight adventure segment of motorcycles while introducing a 150cc scooter to rival Yamaha Aerox and Hero Xoom. In addition, it is also expected to roll out India’s first CNG scooter. The company is also said to be working on an all-new electric scooter below iQube while at the same time readying a sub 500cc supermoto bike for India. Let’s discuss in detail about the upcoming TVS bikes and scooters in India.
1. TVS RTX 300
TVS RTX 300 is likely to launch around Sep 2025 in the Indian market. It will be the first TVS adventure motorcycle till date in the country. The ADV bike will be powered by an all-new 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with power output of 35 bhp and peak torque of 28.5 Nm while linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Other key highlights will be 19-inch front wheel, split-seat setup, all-LED lighting, tall windscreen, slip & assist clutch and an upswept exhaust. It will rival Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure.

2. TVS Ntorq 150
TVS Ntorq 150, the brand’s biggest ICE-powered scooter till date, is under development and could debut around the festive season of Diwali (Oct-Nov) 2025 in India. Though not much is known about the Ntorq 150, it is likely to ride on 14-inch wheels at both ends while equipped with a single-channel ABS as standard safety features.

The present models in the 150-160cc scooter segment are Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155, and both of these come with liquid-cooled engines. However, TVS presently doesn’t have a liquid-cooled powertrain below 300cc and hence it will be interesting to see if the brand develops an all-new engine for the scooter.
3. TVS Jupiter CNG

The Jupiter CNG had its world premiere at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. Though it was presented in concept form, we have learnt that work has begun on the production version which is believed to go on sale by the end of 2025. The scooter gets a CNG tank under the seat with a capacity of 1.4 litres while the fuel tank is placed at the floorboard with 2 litres capacity. TVS claims that Jupiter CNG has an overall range (Petrol + CNG) of 226 km in one go while clocking a top speed of 80 kmph.

4. New Electric Scooter

TVS is reportedly readying an all-new entry-level electric scooter for the Indian market. To be priced around Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom), it will be positioned below the iQube e-scooter. Since it will be an affordable model, we can expect a minimalistic design and basic features while equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery pack or an even smaller unit. A hub-mounted motor sourced from Bosch is on cards to keep the costs in check. It is likely to have a range of around 70-80 km on a single charge.
5. TVS RTS X
Recently, TVS filed a design patent for the RTS X Supermoto in India which was leaked online. The company had previewed the RTS X concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in Jan 2025. The leaked patent indicates minor changes have been made to the production version.
The most spectacular highlight of the supermoto is the exhaust pipe which is placed under the seat, and right below the tail lamp. Currently, there are no supermoto models below the 500cc in India and KTM is also gauging customer response for the 390 SMC R. It will be interesting to see which of the two models goes on sale first in the Indian market.
