Mahindra XUV 3XO EV
The carmaker has been testing the electric XUV3XO for a long time now. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the model is likely to go on sale in the next couple of months. The XUV3XO EV is expected to be offered with a smaller 35kWh battery pack, paired with an electric motor. The design and interior will be identical to its ICE counterpart; however, a few EV-specific elements will highlight its electric nature.
Mahindra XEV 7e
The XEV 7e will be the electric version of the XUV700 SUV, which is due for a midlife update in 2026. It will be a born-electric SUV, sharing several design elements, features and powertrain with the larger XEV 9e. This means, the XEV 7e could be offered with a triple screen setup and two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, 16 speaker Harman Kardon audio system and more. The SUV might be offered with the 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack options.
Mahindra Thar/Scorpio N/XUV700 Facelifts
The carmaker’s three popular SUVs – Thar, Scorpio N and XUV700 – will receive midlife updates in 2026. While the engine setups of these SUVs will remain unchanged, minimal updates are expected for the exterior and interior. The 2026 Thar facelift will borrow some features from the Thar Roxx, while the updated XUV700 will share features with the XEV 9e.
New-Gen Mahindra Bolero/Bolero EV
The new-generation Bolero and Bolero EV are slated to arrive in 2026. The all-new Bolero will mark debut of the brand’s new NFA (New Flexible Architecture) platform. Details of the SUV are scanty at this moment. However, it’s expected to come with significantly updated design and interior. In fact, the SUV might borrow a new turbocharged diesel engine from the Thar.
Mahindra XUV3XO Hybrid
The home-grown automaker is also planning to go hybrid way in 2026. The XUV3XO subcompact SUV could be the brand’s first model to feature the petrol-hybrid powertrain. It will compete against the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Brezza hybrid that’s due for 2029. The XUV3XO hybrid might feature a 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, paired with a strong hybrid technology. No changes are expected to its design and interior, except for the addition of ‘Hybrid’ badges.
Mahindra Scorpio N Pik Up
The Scorpio N Pik Up was showcased as a Global Pik Up concept in 2023. This lifestyle pickup truck will be offered with the Green II all-aluminium mHawk diesel engine engine and two gearbox options – manual and automatic. It will offer four drive modes – Norma, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Rut and Sand. The Scorpio N Pik Up will be packed with several advanced features including the Level 1 ADAS, 5G-based connectivity features and more.
Mahindra Thar.e
The carmaker showcased the Thar.e concept as a born electric SUV along with the BE and XUV.e EV range. Unlike its ICE version which is based on a ladder-frame chassis, the electric Thar will use a modified version of the INGLO EV platform called P1. Compared to the BE 6, it’s likely to feature more powerful motors sourced from Volkswagen.
