Nissan Magnite MY24 appears to get discounts of up to Rs. 1.10 lakh this month while up to Rs. 50,000 discounts are available for the latest stock

Despite being the most affordable SUV in Nissan’s lineup, the Magnite is far from being stingy when it comes to offers this May. As buyers evaluate between the 2024 and 2025 model year units, the older stock naturally carries heavier discounts – up to Rs 1.10 lakh -compared to the Rs 50,000 discounts on the MY25 batch.

The 2024 Magnite range features generous cash benefits, particularly on the turbocharged variants. The Turbo CVT and Turbo MT versions across Acenta, Tekna and Tekna+ trims get Rs 90,000 in cash benefits, matched by a standard Rs 20,000 scrappage bonus, adding up to a Rs 1.10 lakh reduction off sticker price. Even AMT-equipped non-turbo variants like the Acenta and N-Connecta trims see discounts touching Rs 80,000.

The entry-level buyers eyeing the Visia or Visia+ in manual guise, however, won’t find a cash discount waiting. Those variants only come with the Rs 20,000 scrappage bonus, which puts them at the lowest end of the benefits scale. Meanwhile, the mid-spec Acenta and N-Connecta trims with the 1.0L NA petrol MT version get up to Rs 85,000 off including Rs 65,000 as a cash reduction.

Switching to the 2025 units, the outlook changes. Nissan’s newer MY25 Magnite lineup offers relatively lighter benefits, topping out at Rs 50,000. This figure combines a modest Rs 5,000 cash discount, a potential Rs 40,000 exchange bonus (or Rs 20,000 scrappage incentive) and an additional Rs 5,000 corporate offer. The Visia AMT and Visia+ MT trims skip the cash discount entirely and rely only on the exchange or scrappage bonus.

While the features and powertrain choices remain unchanged between MY24 and MY25, the price structure certainly doesn’t. For those looking to maximise savings, opting for a 2024 model year turbo variant seems like the logical move. Between sizeable dealer discounts and the continued availability of multiple trims, the older stock offers stronger value before the next facelift cycle arrives.
