The all-new Audi Q3 has received big updates inside and out along with improvements to the features list; a new plug-in hybrid trim introduced
After more than a decade in the market and over two million units moved globally, the Q3 nameplate remains one of the brand’s best-selling models and it has now gained a new iteration with revised styling, improved interior, upgraded driver aids and mechanical revisions which include a new plug-in hybrid variant with a usable EV range rated at up to 119 km.
On the outside, the 2025 Audi Q3 adds sleeker and more prominent lines to the familiar shape. Up front, the large singleframe grille is now wider and flanked by sharper and more aggressively cut headlamps. These elements flow into the SUV’s aerodynamic form with design that seems far more sculpted than before. A shoulder line cuts through the sides between the lights as well. Around the back, buyers can now spec digital OLED tail lamps, joined by a full-length LED light bar and glowing Audi rings.
The new Q3 introduces micro LED modules into its Matrix LED headlamps – enhancing visibility and adding adaptive functionality while the DRLs are formed by 23 separate segments per side, allowing for custom light signatures that are now more closely intertwined with the safety and assistance software – adjusting patterns based on the environment and traffic scenarios.

The Ingolstadt-based manufacturer has done away with the conventional gear selector in favour of a lever-style stalk mounted on the steering column. A second stalk handles wipers and lighting which in turn frees up more room around the centre console. The overall storage improves and the new interface aligns more closely with what’s seen in larger Audi models.
Another new feature is the option of acoustic glass up front which cuts cabin noise at high speeds. As part of improved practicality, the bootspace is rated at 488 litres and can swell to 1,386 litres with the rear seats folded down. The second row now slides forward and back and offers backrest adjustment as standard while the towing limits have increased too – now standing at up to 2,100 kg.

The powertrain choices continue to feature four-cylinder petrol and diesel motors – both supported by mild-hybrid setups. The 148 hp TFSI engine serves as the entry petrol while the equivalent diesel offers long-legged efficiency for those covering serious distances. The attention, however, goes to the new plug-in hybrid, now delivering up to 119 km of electric-only travel on the WLTP cycle. It draws from a 25.7 kWh battery and supports DC charging at up to 50 kW under ideal conditions.
The revised chassis setup promises better ride quality while customers can also opt for sport suspension or a more versatile two-valve damper arrangement. Among the new assistance features, Audi has fitted an interior-facing camera to monitor the driver for signs of fatigue or distraction while adaptive cruise and lane assist systems have also been improved.
The parking assist has gained the ability to remember custom manoeuvres – allowing the Q3 to ‘learn’ and repeat complex parking inputs. A reverse assist function now takes care of tight back-outs, even from dead ends. Sales in Europe kick off this summer with deliveries expected to begin by October and we can expect it to arrive in India in the near future.
