Tata Sierra – Final Design
The near-production version of the Sierra was showcased at this year’s Bharat Mobility Show in January. Furthermore, leaked patent images have revealed its final design details. The SUV remains true to its concept, featuring rectangular-shaped headlamp clusters, fog lamp assembly and an air intake channel under a plastic panel on the lower section of the bonnet, similar to the concept. However, the bumper with a large air dam featuring horizontal slats sets it apart.
The Sierra will feature newly-designed alloy wheels with petal-like elements. The side profile will be further enhanced by massive body cladding, flush door handles and a pronounced C-pillar. The ORVMs will have integrated 360-degree camera. At the back, the SUV will sport full-width light bar connecting the taillights, a slab-sided tailgate and a dual-tone rear bumper with a faux silver skid plate.
Tata Sierra – Cabin & Features

The latest spy images confirm the presence of a triple screen setup, integrated across the dashboard. The SUV will feature a new steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo in the centre, horizontally running lines across the dashboard and mounted speaker and ambient lighting. The floating centre console will offer multiple storage spaces. Similar to the Curvv, the Sierra will feature a touch-based HVAC panel. Some of its other key highlights will be
- Panoramic sunroof
- HUD (head-up display)
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Wireless phone charger
- Ventilated front seats
- ADAS
- 360-degree camera
- Multiple airbags
- Isofix child seat anchor
- Electronic stability control
- Passenger seat airbag cut-off switch
- ABS with EBD
While the 5-seats layout will come as standard, a 4-seater lounge-like configuration will also be on offer. However, the lounge-like cabin setup could be exclusive to the electric Sierra only. It will feature two wider rear seats offering ample legroom. The seats will come with an ottoman function. To further enhancing comfort levels, there will be rear seat entertainment screens, arm rests, multiple connectivity options, phone chargers and foldable tray tables.
