Deconstruct Review – Skincare Villa

Deconstruct had sent me some products for review in December 2022 or January 2023, I can’t remember the exact month. Fats forward in 2025 I would still buy their products as I had a really good experience with the product efficacy. I have used a range of products starting from oil cleanser to face wash, lip balm to body wash. I have reviewed some products on my blog and I would keep on adding the reviews to this Deconstruct Brand Review. Let’s get started.

Deconstruct Gel Sunscreen Review

It is an oil-free sunscreen that has feather light texture and provides broad-spectrum protection SPF 55+ and PA+++. It absorbs into the skin very well and feels as if you haven’t applied anything. It doesn’t clog pores or cause any acne for my oily and acne prone skin. The fact that it doesn’t irritate the eyes and can be removed well with a foaming cleanser makes it a good one to be used on a daily basis. The best part about this sunscreen is the reapplication part. The reapplication doesn’t feel heavy on my oily skin. I prefer using this for indoors or during monsoons or winters since it’s not much waterproof or sweat proof.

Deconstruct Fluid Brightening Sunscreen Review

The lightweight, fluid texture feels weightless and non-greasy, providing great hydration without leaving a white cast. It is easy to reapply throughout the day because of its fluid consistency. Deconstruct Fluid Brightening sunscreen is better suited for dry, normal skin types rather than oily, combination skin type. One can skip a moisturizer while using the sunscreen and double cleansing is a must if you have acne prone skin. I think I will probably skip this sunscreen during the summers and won’t use two finger rule while using it in any other season.

Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum

10% 3-o-ethyl ascorbic acid, a stable derivative of vitamin C is used in the serum. This serum is also fortified with hydrating ingredients along with antioxidants (Ferulic Acid) to repair the skin. The serum can be a great addition to a skincare routine if you are looking to brighten up the skin, exfoliate the whiteheads and reduces acne marks as well as pigmentation. The serum is formulated with optimum concentration of vitamin C and works efficiently to give good and lasting results. I would say Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum is one of the best vitamin C serum in India for all skin types. The texture is good for layering up your skincare products. Do try it once you are looking for an effective yet affordable Vitamin C serum in India.

Deconstruct Oil Free Moisturizer Review

Deconstruct Oil Free Moisturizer is definitely one of the best oil free moisturizer in India. I have used many oil free moisturizers available in India and this one comes close to being a winner so far. The affordable price, ingredients’ list, packaging, texture, consistency everything is impressive. The product is meant to be used by oily, acne prone skin although it can be used by other skin types in skincare layering. If you are looking for an oil free moisturizer in India, then give this one a try. It is a perfect pick for the oily acne prone skin for day to day use.

Deconstruct Soothing Cleansing Balm Review

Deconstruct soothing cleansing balm is the most affordable, efficient, daily use makeup remover. I can say that it is a good balm cleanser for all skin types. It works great to deeply cleanse the skin without stripping off excess oil. It moisturizes the skin and reduces the appearance of pores with regular use. The texture is very easy to work with and is gentle on eyes as well. I can definitely say cleanse your face with this best cleansing balm in India! The brand has changed the formulation and I have used both the original version and reformulated version and both are equally good.

Deconstruct Salicylic Acid Face Wash Review

Deconstruct salicylic acid face wash is a gentle yet effective face wash that performs the job of exfoliating the skin perfectly without irritating it. It works to cleanse the skin while keeping it soft and smooth. 0.5% salicylic acid and 1% niacinamide work to unclog pores, control sebum production, and prevent comedogenes. The fact that it will fit seamlessly into your skincare routine irrespective of your skin type, other actives in skincare routine, makes it a value for money product. People who face mild acne problem can definitely give this a try. The face wash prevents breakouts caused by clogged pores.

Deconstruct Salicylic Acid Body Wash Review

Deconstruct Salicylic Acid body wash is a good, beginner friendly exfoliating body wash. It keeps back acne, body odour and mild Keratosis Pillaris at bay with regular and consistent use. It works well on cleansing the skin while being gentle and not drying out the skin Overall, I really like this body wash and would highly recommend you to check this one out. It’s totally worth the price.

Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer Review

This moisturizer is purely love in the form of a ceramide moisturizer that strengthens the skin barrier. It is easy on the pocket and performs well even on oily skin in spite of not being formulated for oily skin. It not only sufficiently nourishes the skin but at the same time doesn’t feel heavy at all. I would definitely recommend you to try this moisturizer if you are looking for a good ceramide moisturizer. After trying out the Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer I realised that a well formulated product can suit all skin types when used rightly. There are a not a lot of options for oily skin when it comes ceramide based moisturizers. Although the product doesn’t have any greasiness I wouldn’t advice to use it on a daily basis if you have acne prone skin.

I hope you find these short reviews useful while making a purchase. I will keep on adding the products to this blog post of Deconstruct Review if I try out any other products from their range.
