Flight Lieutenant Siddharth Yadav showed immense courage at the mere age of 28 when he got killed in a Jaguar fighter jet crash near Jamnagar, Gujarat. The crash happened on April 2, 2025, shortly after the jet took off from the Jamnagar Air Force Station. However, here is a shocking fact Siddharth has recently returned to his duty after a brief leave for a special occasion.

Flight Lieutenant, Siddharth saved many lives during the tragic crash of fighter jet Jaguar in Jamnagar, Gujarat. It is being reported that the crash happened due to a critical technical malfunction. Siddharth showed immense courage and didn’t care about his life. He steered the jet away from a densely populated area.

The crash occurred approximately 12 km from Jamnagar city in the Suvarda village in Gujarat. The aircraft burst into flames after the crash, and local villagers quickly gathered at the scene. They even provided assistance to the injured pilot and notified the assigned authorities. 

Not only this, Siddharth even made sure to eject his fellow pilot and ensure his safety before he lost his life in the tragic crash. Siddharth crashed the fighter jet in the open fields, but his actions made sure that no civilian lives were lost. His co-pilot, Manoj Kumar Singh, is currently receiving treatment after sustaining injuries in the crash.

The 28-year-old pilot, Siddharth Yadav had gotten engaged in March 

Siddharth Yadav was the only son of Sushil Yadav and Neelam Yadav. He hailed from Bhalkhi-Majra village in Rewari. The family was preparing for his wedding, which was scheduled for November 2, 2025. Siddharth had gotten engaged on March 23, 2025, and it comes as a shock as he lost his life just days after returning to his duty.

Siddharth completed her training as a fighter pilot and joined the Indian Air Force after passing the NDA exam in 2016. Within two years, he was promoted to Flight Lieutenant. The news of his death has left everyone in his family in deep sorrow, and the entire town of Rewari is in disbelief. 

Sushil Yadav, who is also a retired Air Force personnel and currently working with LIC, called his son’s bravery a source of pride for him. Siddharth mortal remains are expected to arrive at his home town on April 4, 2025. Later, his last rites will be performed at his ancestral village with full military honours. 

Also, it is worth mentioning that Siddharth has been part of his family’s long love for military service. His great-grandfather also served in the Bengal Engineers under the British regime. On the other hand, his grandfather was a member of the Paramilitary Forces. His father served in the Indian Air Force. 

While Siddharth’s untimely demise left his family filled with shock and pain, his courage and sacrifice are going to be remembered for years.
