The Paatal Lok actor, Jaideep Ahlawat, is all set to appear in the upcoming action thriller, Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, starring Saif Ali Khan, Nikita Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor. The Netflix film, Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins is releasing directly on OTT on April 25, 2025. Ahead of the film’s release, the actor shared his experience working with Saif Ali Khan. For those unversed, Jaideep previously worked with Bebo in the film, Jaane Jaan. After appearing alongside the couple as co-stars, Jaideep revealed that he is now part of the Pataudi family.

In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Jaideep revealed that both Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have distinct acting styles, and despite being such big stars, they remain down-to-earth. Then the actor jokingly said that as he shared screen with the couple, he might consider himself a family member to them. Addressing the same, Jaideep said:
“Ab main family member kaha jaa sakta hoon. As actors, they are slightly different. Jaane Jaan was quite serious. So, her preparation was different. But the one thing I found interesting is that despite being such big stars, both of them never intimidate you with their stardom.”

Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor shared a photo with Kareena and captioned the post as:

Jaideep Ahlawat’s professional achievements
Jaideep Ahlawat was born on February 8, 1980 in a village in Haryana’s Rohtak district. Before starting his acting career, he attempted to join the Indian Army but was unsuccessful multiple times. He was a student of Film and Television Institute (FTII). In 2010, Jaideep made his debut with the film, Khatta Meetha, starring Akshay Kumar. He played a negative role in the film, Khatta Meetha. His performance in the web series, Gangs of Wasseypur was widely appreciated. The web series, Paatal Lok, brought fame to the actor. Jaideep also shared screen with Alia Bhatt in the film, Raazi. He also gave hits like Maharaj to the industry. He will also be part of the third season of the web series, The Family Man.
Jaideep Ahlawat’s personal life
In 2019, Jaideep was married to his college junior, Jyoti Hooda. As per reports, the duo studied together at FTII. From the college days, the couple had been in an open relationship. In a 2021 interview with The Times Of India, Jaideep once shared that he had immense respect for his wife, Jyoti because of her immense patience. He also shared how Jyoti hade been a constant support system in his struggling days. Speaking about the same, Jaideep said:
“No one knows better than a spouse when an actor is disturbed, worried because of prep or any other thing that happened on the set. It takes a lot to live with that. I don’t think I have ever let Jyoti down as a husband, I’ve always tried to give it my all.”
