In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai TV serial, Armaan’s character has witnessed a changed. He has become over protective toward his daughter and unintentionally is hurting his wife Abhira.
Rohit Purohit, the male lead of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is one of the most loved TV stars currently. It is his character Armaan that has brought him crazy fame. However, currently fans are quite upset with Armaan. In the recent episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, fans are getting to see a cranky and unpleasant Armaan. He has now become a father and is being over protective toward his child. So much that he is even emotionally hurting his wife Abhira played by Samridhii Shukla.
In the new promo of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, fans get to see Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) being extremely worried as daughter Pookie has high fever. She informs Manisha Chachi that she did not change the AC temperature neither did she give Pookie a bath. Yet, her fever isn’t subsiding. Armaan (Rohit Purohit) shows up and starts screaming at Abhira. He points out that there is a reason why he doesn’t change the AC temperature and keeps checking on baby’s blanket as that’s what ‘responsible parents’ do. It was a taunt directed toward Abhira. She is shocked and so is Manisha Chachi. Later, Armaan decides to take Pookie to Ruhi saying that Abhira does not have a real connection with their daughter as she hasn’t given birth to her.
The promo has gone viral on social media and all the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fans are upset and angry with Armaan’s behaviour. One of the fans wrote, “Armaan is such an annoying character. He makes blunders, shows his toxic traits, apologizes, gets ww all in the name of trauma, and then blunders again, and the cycle continues. All other characters’ trauma is supposed to b ignored, barring Armaan’s.”

There are reports in entertainment news suggesting that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai may take a leap of 5 to 7 years. Rumours have it that Armaan and Abhira’s separation track is in the pipeline.
