Simi Garewal And Sharmila Tagore

Simi Garewal and Sharmila Tagore made a memorable impact on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet with their captivating presence. Simi’s red carpet debut was highly anticipated, and she did not disappoint. She donned a custom-designed outfit by Karleo that seamlessly combined Indian craftsmanship with contemporary flair. Her freshwater pearl corset was paired with a flowing, detailed skirt, accented by a modern high-low jacket for a stylish touch. She completed her look with a statement necklace, adding to her elegant aura.

Sharmila Tagore, on her part, chose a stunning emerald green silk saree with a striking gold zari border, draped perfectly to exude regal elegance. She accessorised with a gold clutch and delicate jewellery, including a pendant, earrings, rings, and a watch. Her soft pink makeup complemented the vibrant green of her saree beautifully. Both were invited to the screening of their 1970 classic, Aranyer Din Ratri (Days and Nights in the Forest), directed by Satyajit Ray. The screening was introduced by filmmaker Wes Anderson, an avid admirer of Ray’s work, adding an extra layer of significance to their appearance.

Urvashi Rautela

Today, actress Urvashi Rautela shared another striking look on Instagram, showcasing her in a chic bodycon dress. In this new look, Urvashi is seen wearing a stylish brown bodycon dress featuring a sophisticated neckline and long sleeves. She accessorised with multiple layered necklaces that enhance her overall appearance.

Her hairstyle further elevates the look, making her stand out even more. Urvashi posted her new look on Instagram with the caption, “Tell me that you are in Cannes, without telling me that you are in Cannes.” She also revealed that her outfit was designed by West African architects and customs from Senegal.

Shalini Passi

Shalini Passi captivated on Day 7 of the Cannes red carpet in a bespoke Manish Malhotra ‘Longitude 77’ gown—a stunning homage to Indian heritage. The couture piece artfully blended fashion with cultural pride, featuring intricate craftsmanship and timeless elegance. Known from Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Shalini is a prominent Delhi socialite, art collector, and philanthropist.

In the photos, she is seen posing from the balcony of Hotel Martinez, looking breathtaking in a sleeveless navy-blue gown adorned with delicate cascades of vivid landscapes and scenic imagery. The gown’s detailed painting and handwork beautifully depict India’s diverse landscapes, merging art and storytelling. This dress is a collaboration between two creative powerhouses—Manish Malhotra’s fashion expertise and Maity’s fine artistry.

Shalini completed her Cannes 2025 look with custom jewellery by Manish Malhotra, a classic Judith Leiber clutch, and glam makeup by Shobhit Khuranna. Her styling was curated by Nupur Mehta, with assistance from Sanssgram, while JB Beauty Artist styled her hair. The visuals were captured by Ryan Martis and M2 Foto Factory. Shalini’s appearance was a proud showcase of India’s rich cultural heritage on the international stage.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez looked regal in a stunning blue dress at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. Sharing her elegant look on Instagram, the Bollywood star captivated fans with her graceful presence on the festival’s red carpet. The body-hugging seafoam blue gown from Philipp Plein Resort 2025 collection beautifully complemented the serene setting of the French Riviera. Attending the ‘Women in Cinema’ event hosted by the Red Sea Film Foundation, Jacqueline embodied both tranquillity and sophistication. The shimmering, halter-neck gown hugged her curves seamlessly, echoing the colours of the ocean and sky behind her.

Crafted from a luminous fabric that reflects light from every angle, the dress featured delicate waterfall-like fringe details around the neckline, adding a sense of movement. The backless design injected a touch of dramatic glamour, completing the ethereal yet commanding look. Her makeup was kept minimal with earthy brown tones on her eyes and a matching lip colour that enhanced her natural beauty. A simple yet elegant diamond bracelet from Akoirah by Augmont completed her look perfectly.
