The multifaceted celeb, who arrived in the French Riviera with the cast and crew of Homebound – Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, Janhvi Kapoor, Neeraj Ghaywan, Apoorva Mehta and Natasha Poonawalla, did fashion lover a service right from the moment he set foot on the red carpet.

Pookie In Pink
Karan Johar looked dashing walking the streets of the French Riviera dressed in a pink checked, three-piece tailored suit by label Crestelli. The ensemble – a luxurious wool-silk blend, elevated Karan’s style to one expected from celebs attending the prestigious film festival. He styled the suit with a midnight blue-almost black shirt and pocket square featuring a white and dark blue pattern. Styled by Eka Lakhani, Johar accessorised the look with shades, brown shoes and a statement ring.
Royal Manish Malhotra White Couture
For his first red carpet appearance – alongside team Homebound, Karan Johar made heads turn and jaws drop in a custom, white Manish Malhotra ivory bandhgala with handcrafted tonal thread embroidery & a woven jacquard collar. Stylist Eka paired the bandhgala with an ivory shirt with ruffle detail on collar placket and cuff and heeled black shiny shoes. Elevating the lookeven further and making him look like royalty walking on the carpet were the Manish Malhotra Jewellery buttons, broches, collar pins and and Omega watch.
A Stylist Twist
To mark his presence at the Bharat Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, Karan created drama in a Valentino kimono-style jacket. Featuring Indian-inspired motifs that also added a subtle nod to Cannes, Eka and Karan opted to leave the jacket open and style the belt like a scarf draped around his neck. Paired with navy blue trousers and a cross-lapel shirt, the simple, yet elegant look was accessorized with an enormous blue stone ring surrounded by diamonds and black dress shoes.
Princely Looking With A Schiaparelli Brooch
Karan Johar wore a classic Falguni Shane Peacock black and white suit to attend the night in Croisette celebrationg. Eka styled the ensemble – featuring an oddly shaped sharp white panel, with a stunning gold Schiaparelli brooch that added drama to the look in a fashionable manner.
Blooming At Cannes
For another outing in the French Riviera, Karan Johar slayed in an exquisite Rohit Bal rich silk velvet jacket featuring myriad embroidered rose motifs in shades of soft pink and red. The ensemble -completed in over 410 hours with silk threads and metallic sequins, is a silent statement that screams luxury in a royal manner.

Karan Johar’s final look in the French Riviera oozed of royalty like never before. A rich maroon Helen Anthony full canvassed suit, handmade in Savile Row London over a span of 100 hours, screamed style fit for a king. Talking about the look, Eka said, “This exquisite suit by Helen Anthony is a true statement of British luxury and artisanal excellence. Crafted from premium British velvet in collaboration with the world-renowned fabric mill Scabal, the piece represents true British heritage and craftsmanship.”
