Pakistani actress Hania Aamir’s Instagram account went unavailable in India amid the rising political tension between both the countries. Did she make a new account to stay connected with her Indian fans?
Pakistani actress Hania Aamir is ruling the headlines these days. The actress was among the few stars from across the border who took to social media to condemn the Pahalgam Terror Attack. However, given the tense political situation between Indian and Pakistan, her social media account got blocked in India. Recently, reports hit the internet that the actress has started a new account on social media. It was being speculated that it is a move for her to stay connected with her Indian fans. However, her team has now issued a clarification.
A few social media users spotted Hania Aamir’s new Instagram account with username ‘naamtohsunahoga’ and soon the screenshots of the posts made by her went viral. The account was available for Indian audience and that led to the speculations. Soon it also got interpreted that she is making moves to seek work opportunities in India. However, Hania Aamir’s team has now issued a clarification. The team has clarified that it is a misunderstanding that she’s trying to reach Indian audience, seeking work. The team explained that her old account got deleted on Instagram and that is why a new one was made with the same name. The team also added, “Unfortunately, it wasn’t set to private yet, which led to the confusion. Let’s clarify that Hania’s actions have nothing to do with seeking work opportunities or following in India. We know her heart.”
For the unaverse, Hania Aamir was supposed to be a part of Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming movie Sardaarji 3. However, following the Pahalgam Terror Attack, many called for a ban on Pakistani artistes working in India. Rumours had it that she was getting replaced in the film. However, there is no confirmation as yet.
It was after Uri attack that a ban was called on Pakistani artistes working in India. Fawad Khan, who was last seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in Bollywood, was finally making a comeback to India with Abir Gulaal. However, post the Pahalgam Terror Attack, many are calling for boycott of the movie.
