Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has taken a seven year leap and we will see another new entry happening in the show. Actor Rahul Sharma is all set to be a part of the TV serial.
Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has taken a leap. We saw that Armaan and Abhira have been separated after their baby went missing during her Nahavan ceremony. Armaan broke all ties with Abhira and the Poddar family. However, he did find his baby when a truck driver informed him about her. But, he did not inform anyone about it and just ran away to Mount Abu with his daughter. He started a new life there while Abhira kept blaming herself for losing the baby.
After seven years, Abhira has been living alone with the guilt of losing her baby. She stays in a chawl with Dadisa and Vidya. Sanjay and Krish had removed them from the Poddar house and took over all the business. Dadisa and Vidya sell sarees to earn money while Abhira works in a law firm.
Armaan has named his daughter Maira and works as a radio jockey. He also has Geetanjali in his life. She is his friend and also his neighbour who stays with her Dadu. Maira wants Armaan to marry Geetanjali so that she can have a mother. But, Armaan still has Abhira in his heart.
Rahul Sharma joins YRKKH as Anshuman
Amid this drama, we will see another new entry in the show. A new guy will enter Abhira’s life. There were rumours that actor Rahul Sharma is entering the show. Now, he has confirmed the news. We also see his picture with Samridhii Shukla aka Abhira going viral.
He spoke to Etimes and confirmed the news. He said that he is playing the role of Anshuman in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai who is an affluent businessman. He added that Anshuman is sharp and straightforward in professional matters but a very kind hearted and decent man, deeply rooted in family values.
He further said, “There are many shades to his character that will unfold gradually. Establishing a connection with the audience as a new entrant is definitely a challenge, especially since I’ve never done this before.” He also shared that establishing a connection with the audience as a new entrant is a challenge especially because he has never done a character like this before or entered an on-going show midway. However, he trusts the audience will support him as always and he will do his best to entertain and contribute meaningfully to the show’s journey.
