Kartik Aaryan and Anurag Basu have collaborated for a yet-to-be titled love story. The film will also feature Sreeleela as the female lead and mark her Hindi film debut. If reports are to be believed, 70% of the shoot has been finished, and a teaser will be released within a month.
A day after actor Kartik Aaryan dropped a photo with co-star Sreeleela – to inform his fans that he has finished filming his upcoming project which has been directed by Anurag Basu, reports have been suggesting that the film’s teaser will soon be launched. A report in Pinkvilla suggested that the teaser from Anurag and Kartik’s upcoming film will be made launched in about a month’s time. “Around 70 percent of the shoot for the yet untitled love story is wrapped up, and with a schedule break now, Anurag Basu and Kartik Aaryan are working to unveil a teaser of the film within the next 30-days. The work on the teaser is presently underway, and the idea is to establish the world of the intense love story with a musical touch,” a source had told the portal.
Even though the industry rumours have suggested that the film won’t release on Diwali, the film’s teaser will suggest otherwise. “Kartik has completed a large chunk of the shoot in his rockstar avatar, and the next schedule requires him to sport the boy-next-door look. He resumes the final leg with Anurag Basu in August. Contrary to the industry rumours, the film is on track for a Diwali 2025 release,” a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.

Kartik Aaryan had dropped a photo with co-star Sreeleela as he wrapped the schedule of his upcoming film – a yet-to-be-titled musical love story by Anurag Basu. The picture featured a mirror selfie featuring Kartik and Sreeleela. He captioned, “Long but a very fulfilling Schedule Wrap (sic).”

The film has been produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. While it was initially named Aashiqui 3, the production team entered a tiff with Vikram Bhatt, who claimed to owning the title for the Aashiqui franchise. Bhushan Kumar, however, will use the iconic music of the film because the music rights to the film are with T-Series.
