Actor Bakhtyar Irani has criticised Navina Bole‘s recent allegations against filmmaker Sajid Khan. During a recent interview, Navina Bole had accused Sajid of asking her to undress during an audition in 2006. The clip of the interview went viral on social media, and Bakhtyar responded to the actress’s question and asked her why she had been silent for years, with him suggesting she shouldn’t “stop making easy targets”.
Bakhtyar’s reaction to Navina’s allegation
In a video that was uploaded to social media, Bakhtyar wrote in the comments, “Sorry but why did you go home for a meeting? Meetings normally happen at offices or public places. Women of 1980s or women of 2025 then and now both always knew the basics…I am sorry but stop making easy targets now…when did this happen? Why didn’t you come out then? With all due respect to all women, it is high time we stop giving interviews after 30 days of the incident…that much time is enough to get brains and courage.”
On reading Bakhtyar’s comment, Navina Bole fired back at Bakhtyar Irani, asking him to watch her full interview before commenting. She expressed disappointment that he questioned her authenticity, especially since they’ve worked together. Navina clarified about the incident that happened in 2006, she was first informed that the place of the interview was Sajid’s office, however, it turned out to be his house. Navina revealed that she answered in response to the question about her experience with the casting couch, and she did not initiate talking about it and stood by her allegations against Sajid Khan, asserting she dared to share her truth.
For the unversed, in an interview with Filmu Gyan on June 20, 2025, Navina revealed that director Sajid Khan had once asked to meet her for a project. However, things were different when she went on to meet Sajid. The director asked her to take off her clothes. When Navina didn’t respond, the director said that she had to wear a bikini on stage.
In the same interview, Navina shared that the director talked about ‘t**ts and a**’ in his language. However, she made an excuse and told the director that she needed to go home and get a bikini. While leaving, she was filled with a nightmare. Navina also revealed that she received over 50 calls from Sajid asking when she was coming back.
