The duo got married at Akhil’s Hyderabad residence, in the presence of their families and friends. Now, the duo makes their first post-wedding appearance and dazzled holding hands at a Sufi night. The newlyweds were joined by the power couple, Varun Jain and his wife, Sanya.

Celebrity couple, Akhil Akkineni and his ladylove, Zainab Ravdjee, were recently spotted at a Sufi event. It was their first appearance as newlyweds post-marriage. For the special occasion, Zainab donned a floral printed full-length gown, while Akhil looked handsome wearing a navy blue Sherwani and paired it up with a matching pyjama. Zainab accessorised her look with a stunning maang teeka and a neckpiece. Zainab and Akhil marked their attendance at the occasion by holding hands, while the former flaunted her bridal mehendi and her engagement ring.

On June 6, 2025, Akhil Akkineni got married to his fiance, Zainab Ravdjee. The couple tied the knot after having a beautiful relationship for three years. The duo started their forever journey in the presence of their families and close friends, following the traditional Telugu-Brahmin rituals. For the unversed, Akhil’s wedding comes six months after his half-brother, Naga Chaitanya, tied the knot with Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024.
For their big day, Zainab dazzled in a traditional ivory saree with a golden blouse and broad detailing at the pallu. She opted for diamond accessories rather than gold jewellery, which included a choker set, a layered set, jhumkas, maang teeka, a nath, bangles and a kamarbandh. Several prominent celebrities from the film fraternity attended their intimate wedding, including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Prashanth Neel. Although there was quite a buzz surrounding their wedding, the wedding was kept low-key, following the duo’s desire for privacy.

On November 26, 2024, Akhil shared the joyous moment of getting engaged to Zainab. But the actor switched off the comment section to avoid trolling as it was an interfaith marriage. Not only this, Zainab is 9 years older than Akhil. Zainab is the daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee, a well-known industrialist in Hyderabad. The couple got engaged after three beautiful years of relationship.
As per multiple reports, the duo was supposed to get married in December 2024, but dates clashed with his elder brother, Naga Chaitanya’s marriage with Sobhita Dhulipala. For the unversed, Akhil was earlier engaged to Shriya Bhupal, granddaughter of business tycoon of Hyderabad, GVK Reddy. But the duo ended their engagement in 2017 after having a huge fight. Later, in 2018, Shriya Bhupal, a fashion designer, tied the knot with Anindith Reddy, grandson of C Pratap Reddy, founder of Apollo Hospitals. Anindith is a car racing enthusiast, and the couple welcomed their children, a son, Ivaan and a daughter, Gaia.
