Tell us a little about yourself

Priya Saini: My journey into the world of media began with a deep curiosity about storytelling and public narratives.

I hold a Master’s in Mass Communication from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, and a Postgraduate Diploma in English Journalism from the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). I also completed my BA Honors from Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi.

My professional career began with internships and short stints at Perfect Relations and Epistle Communications, where I handled clients like Microsoft, Apollo Tyres, and Renault.

Over time, I evolved from a PR trainee to holding leadership positions at JBC, Prose Integrated, and eventually Veritas Reputation PR.

In 2023, I was entrusted with the responsibility to start the Delhi office of Veritas Reputation PR—a significant milestone that reflects not only my growth but also my entrepreneurial spirit within the agency space.

Today, I serve as the Account Manager for PR & Client Servicing, leading communications for major BFSI clients like PNB MetLife, IBAI, TIW Capital, and Future Generali India Life Insurance.

The crowning moments of my career so far have been winning PR Rising Star of the Year 2025 at the Davos Communication Summit by WCFA and being named Communication Personality of the Year 2025 at BW Marketing Excel.

Through my work, I’ve driven PR strategies, secured top-tier media opportunities, and executed high-impact campaigns. I’ve also worked to integrate PR with digital, leading to a sharp rise in client visibility on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter.

What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?

Priya Saini: Early in my career, I sometimes underestimated the importance of process-driven communication strategies. Relying solely on creativity wasn’t always enough.

These experiences taught me to balance vision with execution, and intuition with insight. I’ve since learned to lead with both strategy and heart.
