I believe in clean, meticulous surgery, and that’s where laparoscopy comes in. Cancer, though a frightening word for many, is something we now understand and treat better than ever.
We are in an advanced phase of cancer care, and there should be no reason to fear it if detected and treated early.
Common Myths About Cancer
Dr. Arpit Bansal: You’re right—there are many myths around cancer. One of the most common is that biopsies can spread cancer. This is false. Biopsy techniques have evolved significantly, and there is no risk of spreading cancer through a biopsy today.
Another misconception is that cancer isn’t treatable. In reality, most cancers—especially stages 1, 2, and 3—are curable with timely treatment. Even stage 4 cancers can be managed with immunotherapy and other advanced treatments, allowing patients to live long and meaningful lives.
It’s important to understand that many cancers start as painless lumps. Because of that, they often go unnoticed. I always encourage people to evaluate any persistent lump or unusual symptom as early as possible.

Dr. Arpit Bansal: This is my favorite topic—and one I’ve covered extensively through videos and talks. As Hippocrates said, “All disease begins in the gut.”
That’s especially true for cancer. What we eat directly impacts our gut health. Inflammatory foods trigger chronic inflammation, which contributes to aging and the development of cancer.
But here’s the key: inflammatory foods vary for every person. Something healthy for one person—like avocado or milk—can cause bloating or constipation in another, depending on their gut microbiome.
Your gut is like a rainforest with thousands of bacterial species—some good, some bad. Maintaining the right balance is essential for immunity, digestion, and overall health. That’s why I focus on microbiome analysis for personalized guidance.
Overuse of antibiotics, lack of hydration, and chronic cellular dehydration are also major contributors to poor gut health and cancer risk. Most people live in a state of dehydration for years without realizing it. This needs to change.
Early Warning Signs of Gut Cancers
Dr. Arpit Bansal: Gut-related cancers—like those of the gallbladder, colon, or stomach—are often painless in early stages. That’s why they are so dangerous.
Look out for vague signs such as:
- Fatigue or lack of focus
- Sudden weight loss
- Appetite loss
- Constipation or bloating
- Blood in stool
- Vomiting
- Unexplained abdominal pain
If any of these symptoms persist, consult a doctor immediately. Early detection saves lives.

Flow is a neurological state where your brain releases dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and anandamide—the chemicals of focus, connection, and joy. When I operate in this state, I lose track of time but achieve peak performance.
