Can you share your journey into the PropTech industry and what inspired you to co-found Rentilium?
Manoj Srivastava: My journey into proptech started with first-hand experience of the inefficiencies of property management, late payments, records in books, and a lack of transparency. While researching and learning about technology-driven solutions in various sectors, I identified a huge gap in the rental space.
That was the moment the idea for Rentilium was formed. The vision was to simplify rent collection, automate paperwork, and equip landlords and tenants with real-time data.
We embarked on bringing structure and scalability to the industry that was overdue for digital transformation, redefining rentals as seamless experiences based on trust, efficiency, and technology.
What challenges did you face in the early stages of establishing Rentilium, and how did you overcome them?
Manoj Srivastava: Maybe the hardest aspect of the Rentilium early days was gaining confidence with an industry that was used to getting things done traditionally.
Property managers and owners were not going to choose a technology solution over traditional ones. To avoid this, we provided end-to-end client service, transparent pricing, and hands-on boarding to provide value immediately.
Forming good early relationships also helped us prove that our model is effective. We even addressed actual pain points by bringing compliance, payments, and documentation under one unified platform, which helped drive adoption and demonstrated that technology can make it easy to manage rental property.
Our tech platforms are introducing the trust and transparency among tenants, landlords, rental brands and agents and bringing them to one platform to transform the rental experiences all round.
Can you explain the key features of Rentilium’s platform and how they benefit users in the real estate market?
Manoj Srivastava: Rentilium was built as a complete SaaS-based Intelligent ERP that addresses every level of the rental structure. The core is in functionality that makes operations easy, transparent, and decision-making smart.
From automated rent collection, real-time updates, reminders, lease management, communication interfaces, to future-proof financial reports, the emphasis is the same: to give landlords and tenants an effortless experience.

Our platform scans rental history, payment records, occupancy rates, and maintenance records to provide actionable insights to landlords, tenants, and property managers.
Smart automation handles reminders for rentals, document preparation, and issue tracking, reducing human efforts and streamlining processes. Predictive functions of the ERP system assist in predicting the tenant turnover and pricing optimization.

Are there any new markets or segments you are looking to expand into in the near future?
Manoj Srivastava: Yes, we are actively expanding into new markets and segments with a goal of serving more than 50,000 property management companies across the world by 2030.
Our target includes expansion in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, co-living units, student housing, and short-term leasing sectors with increasing demand for technology-enabled solutions.
We believe the future of real estate is about smart, data-driven platforms that automate operations, improve tenant-landlord relationships, and facilitate seamless scaling.

Manoj Srivastava: As someone who’s been on this journey, my advice for aspiring proptech entrepreneurs is straightforward: begin with the problem, rather than the product.
Real estate is highly fragmented and burdened with legacy systems, so focus on understanding the actual, day-to-day pain points of landlords, tenants, and managers. Don’t pursue trends; solve one pain point very well.
Establish trust via transparency and dependability, and craft tech that is intuitive and scalable. This environment requires patience, persistence, and good customer understanding.
For us at Rentilium, we realized that innovation is of no value unless it translates to real-world action, and that’s where your focus should always be.
