Emraan Hashmi’s film Ground Zero, Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan film Kesari Chapter 2 and Sunny Deol’s starrer Jaat is clashing at the box office. Here’s which film performed well at the box office.
Emraan Hashmi’s starrer Ground Zero is facing tough time in pulling numbers at the box office. The film started on a decent note on its opening day and is yet to cross Rs 10 crore mark after six days of its release. The film was released in theatres on April 25, 2025. Emraan Hashmi plays the role of a BSF officer in this action-thriller and the film has been inspired by real-life events. As per reports, the film has earned Rs Rs 7 crore in its first week. According to Sacknilk, Emraan’s film earned Rs Rs 22 lakh on its sixth day of release and the total collection is around Rs 6.92 crore. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero is facing tough competition from Sunny Deol’s Jatt and Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2. The film also stars Zoya Hussain and Sai Tamhankar in the main roles.
Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday led Kesari Chapter 2 continues to impress all with its storyline and plot. The film was directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and on its day sixth, the film added Rs 3.78 crore net to its collection and now it comes to around Rs Rs 42.94 crores. Kesari Chapter 2 has surpassed the lifetime collections of John Abraham’s The Diplomat and has become the 5th highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025.
Gopichand Malineni’s directed film Jaat was released in theatres on April 10. The film stars Sunny Deol in the main roles and it has managed to earn Rs 71.25 crore worldwide in six days, according to Sacnilk. The trade website reports that Jaat minted Rs 52.50 crore net and Rs 63.15 crore gross in India in six days. The overseas collection is around Rs 8.10 crore and now the collection is around Rs 71.25 crore worldwide. Jaat has become one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2025. Jaat beats Shahid Kapoor’s Deva’s lifetime collection of Rs 55.8 crore. Jaat features Regena Cassandrra, Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P Ravi Shankar and Babloo Prithiveeraj in interesting roles. The story of Jaat is about a mysterious man, played by Sunny who takes on a small village in Andhra Pradesh being oppressed by Ranatunga.
