Celebrity MasterChef has become the favourite reality show of many. Even though the TRPs of the show are not good, we see a lot of buzz online. People keep sharing their opinions on the show through social media. This is the first time we see celebrities showing off their cooking skills in the kitchen. Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna are the judges of the show. Farah Khan joins them as the judge and the host of the show.
Tejasswi Prakash, Dipika Kakar, Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayesha Jhulka and Chandan Prabhakar are the contestants of the first season of Celebrity MasterChef.
The show has reached the grand finale week and we have Gaurav, Nikki, Tejasswi, Rajiv and Faisu in the top five. The finale week began and we saw Gaurav shinning. He made us amazing dishes and impressed the judges. In the latest episode, he got ginger as the main element in his dish and the actor left everyone shocked with his work.
Gaurav accused of copying
He made the best dish of the season in terms of presentation and taste both. Chef Vikas and Chef Ranveer gave him a spoon drop and spoon tap even before tasting the dish. They were left speechless and kept admiring his dish. However, when the promo of this episode came, netizens pointed out that the dish has been copied from another Chef.
Many videos and photos went viral where people showed how Gaurav did not make an original dish and it was copied. People trolled him for copying another dish. Now, Rajiv Adatia has come out in support of Gaurav. He shared a video where he spoke about how they all have been working hard and nobody should be disrespected this way.
Rajiv Adatia supports Gaurav Khanna
He said that everyone has made a big issue out of a small thing. He said that everyone who participated in the show were never professional but home cooks. He pointed out that Faisu and Gaurav were never cooks and they did not know anything.
However, whenever one takes on a show, they do a lot of research. Also, before Celebrity MasterChef, they all got basic training of cooking. He added that when they are in the competition they do go through reels and videos to learn that plating can be done in a certain way and what should not be done.
He then said that Gaurav is accused of copying a dish from a chef but even that chef must have taken inspiration from some other chef. Rajiv believes that Gaurav has taken inspiration from a dish and there is a lot of difference between both dishes.
Rajiv feels Gaurav made his version of that dish and it is very difficult to execute such a difficult dish and he has done it which is a big thing. He further said that everyone has made some outstanding dishes and during breaks they do go through their phones for videos so that they can take ideas of plating.
He has requested everyone to respect the efforts they put. He said that it is not about copying but taking inspiration and Gaurav has done an amazing job. He has requested everyone to love the show as everyone has done their best and is not an easy journey for them. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.

Talking about the grand finale, as per reports the show will go on-air on April 11. Gaurav is reportedly the winner of the show while Nikki is the runner-up. Tejasswi has reportedly secured the third place.
