Television star Rupali Ganguly, popularly known for her role as Anupamaa, expressed her excitement for Bollywood’s upcoming comedy film Housefull 5. The actress took to X to express her wait for Akshay Kumar’s starrer film after its grand trailer launch event. The event featured a film star-studded cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan.
Rupali wrote, “Just watched #Housefull5trailer. There’s nothing better than seeing my brother @akshaykumar making people laugh. We were all eagerly waiting to see him in this avatar. Wishing all the best to him and the entire team of ‘Housefull5’ #AkshayKumar #Housefull5.” Akshay Kumar’s starrer comedy film is set to release in theatres on June 6, 2025. The trailer of the film was launched today that is May 27, 2025, after the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave a green signal to the film. Housefull 5 is certified a rating of UA16+, and the run time of the trailer is 3 minutes and 53 seconds.

The comedy film is directed and co-written by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The trailer opens up with Nana Patekar’s voice, setting the scene where a lavish celebration awaits a billionaire’s 100th birthday milestone, who plans to unveil his will. The twist in the story comes when not one, or two, but three men played by Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan came claiming to be his son. However, soon the three and their wives become prime suspects in a case which is handled by Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt.
The teaser of the film was released on April 30 this year, celebrating 15 years of the Housefull franchise. Fans are eagerly awaiting to watch the new comedy drama that is shot in a new setting, a fancy cruise ship, a thrilling story, and a murder mystery.
