In the video, Ishaan Khatter could be seen talking about the film. However, Janhvi Kapoor and Vishal Jethwa appear engrossed in a talk. They are whispering and chatting away while Ishaan Khatter is sharing his point-of-view. Netizens have found this behaviour ‘rude’. One of the comments read, “Honestly when someone is giving an interview, the other person should have the courtesy to not keep whispering , it’s a bit disrespectful to the person speaking.” The tweet also has a video. There’s another video on Reddit that allegedly shows Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor being awkward on stage. Reportedly, Janhvi Kapoor ignored her Dhadak co-star when he offered her hand at the red carpet of Cannes 2025.
Talking about Homebound, the movie is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. He was also present at Cannes 2025. Karan Johar who is the producer of the film was also there to support the team. As per reports, the movie got a nine-minute of standing ovation at Cannes 2025.
