About 18 years ago, Aamir Khan left everyone in tears with his most memorable film Taare Zameen Par. The film – which had featured Darsheel Safary in a key role – focused on making people aware about dyslexia, autism and psychiatric disability. It helped many understand the fact that every child is special. Aamir Khan’s fans couldn’t hold their excitement when he revealed that he’d bring back sequel Sitaare Zameen Par to the big screen. And the impact of the film could be felt easily when the trailer for Sitaare Zameen Par was unveiled a few days back.
If sources are to be believed, the makers are planning to drop the first song of the film tomorrow. Yes, you heard that right! “The First song ‘Good for Nothing’ will be out May 22. It has been crooned by Shankar Mahadevan and Amitabh Bhattacharya, accompanied by Neil Mukherjee on guitar and Sheldon D’Silva on bass,” a source close to the production house told BollywoodLife.
Those who have watched the trailer would agree that the film gives viewers a glimpse into a genuine and heatwarming tale about redemption and resilience. The three-minute preview takes us to the former basketball coach who is ordered by the court to train a bunch of individuals besides paying a monetary penalty for a run-in with law.
The film has been produced under Aamir Khan’s banner, and its tagline puts out the story in a crisp manner. It reads, “1 Tingu Basketball Coach, 10 Toofani SITAARE aur unki journey.” Genelia Deshmukh has also been roped in as Aamir Khan’s romantic interest.
