Akshay Kumar‘s Telugu mythological movie Kannappa is going to clash with Ajay Devgn‘s production venture Maa that stars Kajol in the lead. The celebrities have done extensive promotions of the movies. When big films clash at the box office, the impact is witnessed on numbers. Though the stars try to avoid clashing at the box office, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are being positive about the clash. Their social media banter is proof of it.
Ajay Devgn’s response to Akshay Kumar’s message
It was Akshay Kumar who first took to his social media account to give a shoutout to Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s film. In a message on X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote that Akshay should get his fans to send good wishes for Kannappa and he will bring blessings of Mahadev for movie Maa. His message read, “Yaar Ajay hum dono ki picture aa rahi hai iss Friday. Tu apne fans ki good wishes #Kannappa ko bhej de aur main mere Mahadev ki blessing #Maa ko. Kya bolta hai?” To this, Ajay Devgn had the best reaction. He too cheered for good friend Akshay Kumar’s movie and wrote, “Tu Trishul leke aa aur main Maa ka aashirwad…Good luck to us both…’.

On the other hand, Maa starring Kajol in the lead is a horror film. Directed by Vishal Furia, it is about a mother who turns Goddess Kali to fight the demon’s curse.
