Within the first four days of release, Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 entered the mighty Rs 100 crore club. However, now the film has witnessed a gradual decline in numbers.
Akshay Kumar returned to comedy with Housefull 5. After delivering an intense performance in Kesari Chapter 2, fans were happy to see him back to the genre he excels in. Along with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar and many others became a part of Housefull 5. The film directed by Tarun Mansukhani released on June 6. It registered a fabulous first weekend business. Over the weekday, it held strong for the first few days. Now, the box office numbers are witnessing a gradual decline.
As reported by Sacnilk.com, Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 failed to pick up pace on second Friday. As per the report, the movie made around Rs 6 crore on its day 8, i.e., second Friday. On day 7, the film had made around Rs 7 crore at the box office. On day 6, the collection was around Rs 8.5 crore. Housefull 5 witnessed good footfalls on day 5 as it made around 11.25 crore. The day 4 collection of the film was Rs 13 crore approximately. Despite a major dip in numbers, it made decently well on first Monday. The day 3, i.e., first Sunday business was Rs 32 crore. The day 2 collection of the film was around Rs 31 crore. The opening day business of Housefull 5 was 24 crore approximately. The film ended the first week at Rs 127.25 crore. Now, it has added Rs 6 crore (as per the early estimates) to it and the total collection stands at Rs 133.25 crore.
With this, Housefull 5 has turned out to be the third highest-grossing movie of 2025 so far. The first two positions are held by Chaava and Raid 2.
As per reports, Housefull 5 has already crossed the mark of Rs 202.62 crore at the box office with its gross worldwide business. It is now one of the highest grossing movies of Akshay Kumar’s career.
