Border 2 stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and others. Now, the film body has written a letter to T-series head Bhushan Kumar raising concern over Diljit’s casting in the movie. In the letter, FWICE has mentioned that the organisation is deeply disappointed with casting of Diljit Dosanjh in the film. The letter also reads, “By choosing to collaborate with an artist who has so brazenly ignored the ongoing tensions and national sentiment, your production has directly undermined the stand taken by the Indian film industry in solidarity with the nation.”
Further, the organisation has reiterated that their position stands clear on those who cooperate and collaborate with Pakistani artists in any form. “This not only defeats the spirit of the film but also sends a disheartening message to every Indian,” letter reads. The makers have now been requested to reconsider the casting decision.
