The Akshay Kumar-starrer film Housefull 5 is all set to hit theaters on June 6th. The movie is going to introduce an innovative concept of dual endings. The audience will be given the choice to choose between Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B during ticket booking, but what is going to be the difference between them?
Housefull maker and producer Sajid Nadiadwala revealed that Housefull 5 is going to feature a murder mystery plot set on a cruise ship, where the identity of the killer will be revealed in the climax of the film. The two versions, Housefull 5A and 5B, will feature different killers. As explained by the film actors, Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, the rest of the film will be entirely the same in both versions. However, only the climax, which will ideally last from 15 to 20 minutes of the film, will be different, which means that the Housefull 5 team shot two different climaxes for the same script in order to give a unique experience to its viewers and fans.
This is not the first time where the strategy of dual climax is being implemented in a movie. Recently, popular actor Sohum Shah, known for his work in Tumbbad, also made changes to the ending of his film Crazxy after receiving feedback from his fans. By offering two versions of the film, the filmmakers hope to enhance audience engagement and expect to increase box office returns. This approach could lead to a win-win situation for both the audience and the filmmakers, by maximizing both enjoyment and profits. This Tarun Mansukhani directed film is reported to have a star studded cast including actors like, Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan Chitrangada Singh and Nana Patekar among others.
