Air Fryer Keema Samosa Recipe
Who isn’t a fan of crispy, golden Samosa but you cannot have them that regularly because they are deep fried. Hence, my healthier and quicker samosa version is Perfect when you want to have them more often and within no time.
It’s can be made using chicken keema, mutton keema, or even vegan meat and are super super yum that they are gone in seconds upon serving.
Plus, with store-bought samosa wrappers, you can have these ready in just 15 minutes—ideal for a quick snack, parties, Iftar during Ramadan, or any time hunger strikes!
Also, they are easy to freeze and store for utpo a month in the freezer.
Air Fryer Keema Samosa Ingredients:
This simple samosa recipe requires basic ingredients you likely already have:
1 cup cooked keema (chicken/mutton/vegan meat)
10 store-bought samosa wrappers (you can use homemade wrappers too)
2 tbsp all-purpose flour + 4 tbsp water (to seal the samosas)
Cooking spray or oil (for air frying)
You can either use homemade keema (try this Chicken Keema Recipe or Lamb Keema) or a store-bought option.
This recipe is great for using any leftover keema/cooked mince meat too.
How to Make Air Fryer Keema Samosa
Step 1: Prepare or Heat the Leftover Keema for Filling
1. As mentioned above, you can use either Chicken or Lamb/Mutton keema recipe or used leftover keema.
2. Simply heat it slightly in a pan and remove any water in it. Let it cool to touch.
Step 2: Assemble the Samosas
1. Take a samosa wrapper, place 1-2 tbsp of keema filling towards the end of the wrapper (picture 3).
2. Fold the corner on top of the filling, giving it a triangle shape.
3. Use the flour-water paste to seal the edge.
4. Turn the wrapped meat above to form a cone shape (picture 4)
5. Brush some more of the flour paste and turn the samosa wrapper in a triangle shape further up (picture 1 below).
6. Finally seal the edges using the flour paste and close the wrapper forming a full triangle or samosa shape (picture 2-3 below).
7. Similarly, fill and wrap all the samosas and keep in a tray.
Here’s a picture of all the samosas nicely filled and wrapped.
Now, I’m going to freeze about 10 of them and rest, I’ll air fry for consumption.
Step 3: Air Fry to Perfection
1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. Lightly brush or spray the samosas with oil on both the sides.
3. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
4. Air fry for 7-8 minutes. Mine cooked evenly on both sides, however if need be, flip the samosa’s to the other end and cook to golden perfection.
Serving Suggestions
These air-fried keema samosas are best served hot with:
- Mint chutney
- Tamarind chutney
- Garlic yogurt dip
- Ketchup or Chili Sauce
- Chai (Tea) for the perfect evening snack!
They also make an amazing addition to Iftar platters during Ramadan.

✔️ Don’t overfill the samosas – It will make sealing difficult.

✔️ Flip halfway – Especially if using a thicker or homemade wrapper. This ensures an even golden texture.
✔️ Don’t overcrowd the air fryer – Cook in batches if needed.

Store leftover air-fried samosas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness.
Freeze before air frying – Assemble the samosas and freeze them for up to 2 months. Air fry directly from frozen!
