I purchased this natural revitalizing night cream along with Evolve Day Cream and Biossance 100% Squalane Facial Oil from the John Lewis website, using my husband’s office gift card two years ago when they were on sale 😄. I’ve finished them all and now feel completely ready to share my thoughts and experiences with you.
Rituals brand offers products for various skin concerns, such as dryness, anti-aging, mature skin, and protection from UV rays. I chose my moisturizer from their anti-aging category. So, if you’re starting to notice the first signs of aging or want to prevent them early (like me), this Glow night cream might be ideal for you. But does that mean others can’t use this product? The Ritual of Namaste Glow Revitalizing Anti-Ageing Night Cream has a smooth, rich, creamy texture with a thick consistency. It’s white in color and features a subtle fragrance. It smells awful though!

How To Use It:
I used to apply this night cream after my evening cleansing routine, gently massaging it onto my face and neck in upward and outward motions while avoiding the eye area.
How Does It Work (Performance Details):
The first time I used this cream, I woke up to a few zits the next day. I rarely get breakouts from skincare products, but when I do, it’s usually serious. Naturally, I was disappointed and wanted to throw the cream away.
However, I later realized my skin was purging, not breaking out. So, much like relationships, I gave this product a second chance and wow, it completely changed my opinion 😍!
Although the cream is thick, it applies beautifully. You only need a small amount to cover your face, neck, and décolletage. It takes a little time to absorb, leaving the skin slightly greasy. Unfortunately, the scent never grew on me; it’s quite unpleasant 😒. (Hopefully, the newest version smells better!)
Despite its flaws, this heavy-duty, rich cream is incredibly nourishing. Even if you skip hydrating mist or serum, this moisturizer alone takes care of dry skin like a pro. It’s packed with skin-friendly ingredients like saffron, wild indigo, seed oils, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, lactic acid, and more.
After a few months of regular use, my blemishes faded, and my skin looked smoother and more radiant. Each morning, I woke up to softer, plumper skin. To date, only a few moisturizers worked like magic for my sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin and Rituals anti-aging night cream is one of them ❤️!
Who Should Use It?
Although marketed as suitable for all skin types, I’d recommend this cream specifically to those with dry, sensitive, or acne-prone skin. If you have oily skin, you might find it too heavy or greasy.
You may ask, being an anti-ageing night cream, with the regular uses, does it actually make you look younger? Honestly, it depends. I can’t speak for everyone, but I often get carded for my looks even though I’m nearing 40 (touch wood!) 😛. But from my experiences (as a consumer and beauty reviewer for 9+ years), I can say, this is by far the best anti-aging, natural moisturizing cream I have used for my sensitive skin. This is the perfect night cream for harsh winter season and dry to mature skin. I’ll buy this again next time when it’s on sale 😉.
