Raid 2 Faces CBFC Scrutiny Before Release
Anticipation for Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, is building up ahead of its May 1 release. However, the film faced some minor censorship issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which requested changes to avoid political sensitivity. The CBFC advised replacing “Railway Mantri” with “Bada Mantri” and removing a specific eight-second dialogue. Despite these changes, Raid 2 managed to secure an early censor certificate and will be one of the first major Bollywood films to be classified under the new U/A 7+ rating system.
