For Patrick, all the clues lead to Ariane

Boher and Patrick evoke the murder of Durieux: Boher refuses to believe that Dialene killed him. However, she had a mobile and the inscription on the ring, “from A to Z”, is clearly a reference to Ariane and Zoé, underlines Patrick. He recalls that in addition, she was unreachable on the evening of the murder. If he also wants to believe in the innocence of Ariane, he wants to do things in order with Boher, who will ask for the demarcation of Durieux and Ariane’s phones.

Riva soothes the situation by intervening and advising Legendre to calm down thanks to a breathing exercise that bears fruit. Babeth is surprised at the behavior of Riva, who tells him that being attentive to the patients is part of his job.

Louis Robbie brings flowers to Barbara to the bar. He apologizes for his delay in the day before, claiming that he had a race forcing him to cross the city. Barbara also has a gift for him: a Breton bowl with his first name.

Ariane goes to armory to find out how someone could get the illegally blakstorm ppk. According to the gunsmith, the person had to address an unscrupulous specialist or collector who was ready not to declare the sale. He evokes a flea market in Saint-Victor who would be able to do that.

At the Mistral, Riva and Babeth have a coffee when Thomas Vanne Riva on his oral anesthesia. But he does not take the fly, to Thomas’ surprise. The doctor must leave for a home consultation, but before that, he wants to pay the bill for Babeth, and tells him that it is a pleasure to work with her, leaving her mouth. For Thomas, this sudden change in mood will not last.

Louis and Barbara, more in love than ever

In a walk with Barbara, Louis Robbie is concerned, and ends up admitting to him that he lied to him. Without going into details, he explains that he must serve someone by lying to the police. Barbara panic, but Louis refuses to tell him more so as not to involve him. He warns it that rumors will circulate on him in the coming days and that she must trust him. “I am in love with you Barbara”he ended up admitting to him. She gives him a statement in return, telling him that she loves him.

Ariane’s arrest

At the police station, Boher transmits the terminal report to Patrick: the phones of Durieux and Ariane issued in the same place, rue Marjolaine, on May 23 at 10 p.m., then in St-Lambert from 11 p.m. until the next morning. Boher is looking for an explanation to launder Ariane at all costs, but for Patrick, none of his theories holds up. He calls Ariane, who is on his way to the flea market, and orders him to come to the police station, claiming a debrief.

She then turned back and, arrived in front of the post, sees Zoé, who tried to reach her several times. She reminds him that they have planned a restaurant the same evening, but Ariane announces to her that she is not available. Zoé is upset, and argues that her mother does not care about her. The proof, she lost the ring she offered her and does not even look for her. Wounded by her daughter’s words, Ariane reminds her how much she is due to her. Zoé feels that her mother hides something from him, but Ariane claims to be just tired. She leaves her and enters the police station.

In the presence of Boher, Patrick confronts her following the demarcation report, but Ariane affirms that appearances are misleading. She accuses them of never having believed him, and takes part in the rest of her colleagues, whom she blames for their lack of support. Reluctantly, Patrick announces to Ariane: “I stop you for the murder of Emmanuel Durieux”.
